Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

A wonderful meadow woodlands with lots of open space here for 4WD & RVs. Ideal for few families getting together to camp.  There are a few sites for campers. So choose your spot when you arrive. Plenty of space. Access road is down a gravel hill slope. Can allow off-road caravans up to 25ft/2t towed by 4WD vehicle.  Views are great from here as well. We are still on the hill, hence you require a chock leveller for your RV.  Fires are not permitted in the summer months. Firewood is free to collect around the camp, however, please do not cut down any trees.  As there are 3 groups on this site, please respect other campers and keep noise down at night and early morning. Do not have generators or drones during this time. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers MUST be completely self-contained. Bring your own portaloo.  Dogs welcome (on leash).

A beautiful spot along the paths with stunning views. Sunsets are spectacular. The parking site has a small, levelled patch. Otherwise, the site is quite small as it is mostly sloppy. A neat spot with a great sunset view. Can accommodate 2-3 families camping together. 4WD accessible only. There's a short stretch of gravelly road to get to Sembawang site. Nice and quiet couple of days at Sembawang. Kangaroos and bobtails in the area. Following boots in for directions is a cool idea. Just don't go past the Sembawang boot (on the left). Myself and another van did, but luckily stopped in time, otherwise you will need 4wd for the road down.

Despite it being a very sloped site, there is adequate room at the top to easily fit a caravan or a couple car setups (rooftop tents). The views were incredible, this was agreed upon by every other camper that passed the site. And waking up the black cockatoos and wallabies in the surrounding vegetation was strangely peaceful, even if they were making a bit of noise. My dog and I made sure to wander off the paths and explore the bushland nearby, there wasnt a single spot that didnt take our breath away. Excited to return and hoping to bring some friends to appreciate how magical this slice of heaven really is.

Close to Perth for a quick weekend getaway. Nice to reset and enjoy the calm. The owner came and introduced himself to make sure we were ok and told us about the baby lambs up by the house. A nice little touch. Kids loved being out in the bush.

Wonderful spot - we chose the Bedok site, it was super private, surrounded by trees. A short wander back down the path it opens up to beautiful views back down the hill and to the ocean. A little lamb was born while we were there and we got to feed the mumma sheep, our toddler loved it. A pile of firewood and firepit waiting for us on arrival which was amazing. Would definitely recommend to people who want some peace and quiet surrounded by nature.

Lovely clear, clean and flat area for a couple of caravans and tents between the trees. Big areas and definitely not croweded in. Could see the sunrise through the trees as well. Clear instructions to get there. The signs on property need to touch up to read a bit clearer. Overall pretty good value, though with everything these days prices do increase.

100 acres wood was a beautiful hip camp , the owner was easy to deal with and instructions were clear and detailed, the only negative would be that Opera 3 , was not really suitable for our set up, the site is very sloppy and would best suit tents, swags or a small camper van. We have a 4wd and forward fold camper trailer which struggled to level out on the site, saying that the views and surrounds were spectacular. We will definitely return however we would just consider one of the other sites which we feel would be better suited to our set up.

I enjoyed car camping at Opera 3 with my dog. Enjoyed the sunset views, the concrete pad was a perfect fit for my 2WD and the location was great- felt tucked away but also close enough to lovely little spots like the Edenvale Heritage Precinct, cute little woodland walks and the shops if you’re hankering for some hot food.

We took our caravan out for the first time to visit 100 acre woods. Great directions to get to our secluded spot surrounded by trees . Camp spots are well marked. We enjoyed the sound of the birds and the rustling trees. Peaceful, relaxing bush walks, sunset and the campfire. What more could you want for a chilled getaway.
