Leaving aerospace cubicles and city-living behind, James and Linda moved to the high desert of Southeast Utah in 1998 in a small school bus and purchased land in La Sal. The next ten years were spent building our own house without contractors and working to finance the building.

Our La Sal location is central to the best of the red rock country of Southeast Utah as well as the alpine environment of the nearby La Sal mountains and Southwestern Colorado. It has been our delight to see as much of both as possible. We have become area experts (by default), and we delight in sharing our extensive knowledge with visitors.
