Lucky Farms Under the Stars
Tucked away campsites on the property. Unfortunately I had to cut the short trip due to one of my cats being sick 🫠
Taylor is a wonderful host, extremely sweet and she obviously cares about her land. Around the campsites there are trails to walk and explore the land. The campsites are extremely well kept and Taylor provides everything you could need for a nice weekend in the woods.

Very secluded, didn’t have anyone else there because of the storm. the lights couldn’t be on for the trails because of this but taylor mentioned that :) big open field and port a potties :) sure the stars would’ve been pretty if it wasn’t cloudy when I stayed. very easy check in :)
Tent camping here was a great experience! The trails are a very nice touch and well maintained. The campsites are well kept! Would stay again!!

Tay's land is spectacular and evolving constantly. I was there 3 years ago also. the sites are well spaced and private. They added porta potties. I expect electric in the future!

The campsites are close to each other but secluded enough to where you don’t see the other campers. Taylor was so kind and responsive, and brought us firewood and cookies soon after we arrived! The walking trails were a fun touch, and the community area was so cute!
Nice and peaceful place to camp.
Definitely will camp again.

Beautiful site with a whimsical and fun trail network. Sites positioning provide enough separation to give you the sense that you have the place to yourself. Clean and well maintained drop toilets. Make sure to order some of the homemade muffins during your stay—we had the chocolate chip and they were delicious!
It’s a sweet spot. It would be great for a rustic wedding! I was there just for a night as I had a pet CPR/first aid class in Charrlotte the next day. The paths were well lit it was nice to walk in nature a bit to wind down after 42 days of straight work. I did check out the campsites the following morning. They are super nice in wooded areas, with clean potties close if you’re not a pee in the woods kinda gal. I’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Lucky Farms Under the Stars! It was a pretty, clean camp site that served our needs perfectly. There were two other sites that were occupied but plenty of space for privacy. Taylor was quick to respond to messages. Overall, it was a pleasant. experience.
Nice open field, but good options to tuck away into the woods. Well shaded and maintained with amenities at site (bathrooms a short walk), but camper vans/trailers have the opportunity to sleep along the tree line under the stars.

Lucky Farms Under the Stars was an incredible stay. The land was beautiful, clean, and spacious. There were walking trails through the woods that led to other sites, the communal campfire, a rope swing, and more. My dog loved running in the grassy field. It was so quiet and peaceful, and at night there were amazing views of the stars. The bathrooms were spotless. The muffins were delicious and made a perfect breakfast treat. An animal had gotten into the first batch of muffins before we got back late, and Taylor had another batch waiting for us the next morning. An overall wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This spot is great for overnight camping.
The walking trail is great and cleverly designed.
Well maintained.
The fire ban in place sucked, but we never asked the owners directly if we could have a fire.
Not much to do if you have kids.
We may not be back, but do not let our review deter you from going.
We enjoy Hipcamp and want to explore as many options possible.

Wonderful place to stop. Everything is neat and clean and the hosts are sweet and accommodating. Everything was as described with sparkling facilities and a cute lighted path.
Wonderful little spot in farmland. Whimsical paths through the woods tracing through the back area of the property, big field in front for fetch.
Little improvements ongoing, they were bringing in flowers for spring while I was there :)
There was quite a bit of light pollution, so if you are looking for a truly DARK night experience this won't be it, but that being said the lit paths at night were delightful.
This was our first hip camp today and it far exceeded expectations! We got in late after dark and the host was there waiting for us. He explained exactly how to get to the site as well as what else was available there. The cookies were there waiting for us. They told us there’s hiking trails and they leave the nights on all night, long on the hiking trails so you can go whenever you want. There is an old sailboat in the woods that the kids climb on there were some rope swings. There was a giant field they could run and play. There were other campers there, but the sites are separated by a pretty good distance and you never saw anyone else. I have a lot of kids and I’m sure they were super noisy, but nobody complained. The kids said it was their favorite place they camped out so far!

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing setting. Just what we wanted! Make sure to get the blues wee muffins and cookies, they were so good!
Second time staying here, great place. Friendly hosts and quick trip from Charlotte. Great trails and amazing stargazing.

Slept very well. Private and quiet. Perfect stopping point for a road trip.
Excellent, expansive property, with a menu of add-ons that range from firewood to s’mores. Big trail system with oddities (including a sailboat), lit up and with decorations - very pretty property and the hosts were very responsive and informative. We will be back.

Taylor’s land was the perfect spot for our midway stop on our roadtrip, not far off the highway and the land itself was gorgeous. Our dog was able to run around off leash, huge plus after hours of driving. The toilet was clean. There were paths through the woods for us to stretch our legs. And our host met us to show us where to set up and could not have been sweeter. Great place to camp!!

I had such an amazing experience car camping at Lucky Farms. This was my very first time camping and this was a great start to my camping adventures. Taylor and Marty were fantastic hosts and so gracious. I felt safe and comfortable here so I was able to get a good nights rest. If you love stargazing (like me) you will love this place with beautiful views of the moon, stars, and sunset/rise. This is the perfect place for campers traveling solo or as a couple/family. My dog loved the open field, but I arrived a bit later than I intended and I didn’t get a chance to explore the trails and other amenities, so I will be booking another stay here with my dog in the future. I would definitely recommend Lucky Farms to any camper looking for a great place to camp. :)
Taylor and Monty were awesome. The place was beautiful and well maintained. Portapotty was as clean as a Marriott bathroom. Order the chocolate chip cookies. Delicious. Thank you for a wonderful adventure.
This was exactly what we were looking for when searching for our daughter’s first camping trip. The owners were so nice and hospitable and the property grounds are just beautiful. The trails throughout the woods light up at night which made my daughter smile for hours on end. She especially loved the rope swing and visiting the horses!. Don’t skip this spot in your search. You’ll regret it.

We love Luck Farms!!!!
We've been here multiple times and each time gets better and better. The owners are always improving the farms aesthetics. The sites are all wonderful. We've stayed at each of their sites on different occasions. The kids love the swings and the trails. We were able to enjoy our outdoor adventures and created wonderful memories.
I had a wonderful experience at Luck Farms tent camping this past weekend! I will surely go back. Very friendly beautiful place. 5 stars!!

Not too far from other stuff but far enough out you feel peace and quiet! Perfect for kids/dogs! Our nieces and nephew LOVED the walking trail and it’s close/small enough they can adventure in their own while adults relax! Halloween decor was extra cute! Hosts were very welcoming!
