Duck Lake Lodge Campground is a family friendly and down to earth outdoorsman's lodge and property located just outside of Babb. Mt in the heart of North America's Backbone, Glacier National Park. Our location is surrounded by woods in a safe, cozy rustic and serene environment, just minutes from the park, on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation rich with history and amazing culture. Our camping spots have wooded surroundings, secure bathrooms, showers-$5 (pre-purchase with booking), coin laundry for campers, trash facilities. Sites are nestled in the trees with picnic tables, campfire rings at each Tent site . Pop up tents, camp vans, Rooftop tent should reserve an Electric Avenue Spot We have Electric Sites ( 21ft max) available for Car, Sprinter Van , Rooftop tents, tents We recommend surge protectors. Our main lodge features a Breakfast Cafe Monday thru Saturday 7a-9:30a Wife access is available at the main lodge. We strive to maintain a quiet, safe and family friendly area. You can also access a community bonfire area on the main lawn, as well as a pond area with numerous waterfowl. The lodge is open 7a-11a and 5p-8p Tuesday thru Saturday. On site staff may be reached thru Hipcamp messaging. Rich with wildlife you can see deer, moose, ducks, beavers, various bird species, as well as hummingbirds that are here to welcome you. Even the occasional bear or moose sighting. The sunset and sunrises are breathtaking. We invite you to come and explore Glacier's pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes. With over 700 miles of trails, Glacier National Park is a paradise for adventurous visitors seeking wilderness and solitude. It's a real home away from home Glacier Base Camp. The property is privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guest or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. We are in bear and wildlife country. Be aware, store food items away from tents, keep sites free from debris. Extinguish camp fires when not in use. Duck lake lodge is a nice place. Felt like it was very private. I failed to read the full description about having to pay for showers. Wasn’t the end of the world. I appreciated handing access to a washer and dryer. All around I would stay there again.

Beautiful campsite with pine and lots of aspens. Quiet, clean and one of the prettiest places I have been. The owners/managers were very nice. My pomeranian got out of the tent while we were eating dinner out. They found him and brought him to me. I wont leave him in the tent again. Little stinker got out, but I sure appreciated their help. A beautiful, clean campground, nice people, and a rustic lodge. Wish I had time to have breakfast, but was on the road seeing Chief Mountain and Two Medicine Lake. I am a native Montanan, but had never been to the Babb area. It is gorgeous and remote. It was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend a stay there. It is close to many Glacier Park attractions. It has a good vibe !!

I would give this place a 4/5 stars because of the host friendliness, beautiful property, and all the amenities! With that being said, it was given 4 stars and not 5 because of pricing and bathroom cleanliness. For the price per night, I initially accepted it was high because of the amenities. BUT when you have to pay $5 for a 5 minute shower ($5 for 10 minutes seems a bit more reasonable) and $2 to wash and $2 to dry your laundry... At that point, the nightly charge was not going towards the amenities. Ya know what I mean?😅 But I DID appreciate the running water and flush toilets! The dish room was SO handy. We appreciated the free dish soap, and the idea of the "leave something you dont need, and take something you do need" shelf- we left an air mattress pump! I really appreciated they kept the dish sink clean and had garbage bins pretty close to the 2 camping loops. The camp hosts were also very quick to respond to any messages, like toilet paper being out! So, overall, the pricing just being a tad lower and the bathrooms being cleaned daily would be all that's needed to make this a COMPLETE 5 star. And maybe give the option to add 15-30 minutes onto the dryer if something isn't completely dry, instead of having to spend $2 for another entire cycle😅 On our last night there, we were visited by a moose and heard a mountain lion, a pack of coyotes, and an owl! So cool! Thanks Terri and Max!

Had a lovely time at the Duck Lake campground! Nice big spaces for tents, great breakfast, and super kind hosts. Very clear directions for everything and nice facilities. So appreciated having a place to wash dishes. Terri was so kind and helpful. Thank you Terri and Max!!

Great location just 10 minutes outside the park on the east side, with signs near the park exit telling you where to go in case you don't have service. The hosts were friendly and amenable. You do need to pay for showers ($5 for every 5 minutes) which, for the price of campsite, I felt to be a little annoying. This could also pose issues for travelers that plan to get in late at night or outside of lodge hours (the lodge closes around 8 pm if I recall). Also, there is only one bathroom for each gender, with the shower located inside each one, so there's a strong possiblity of waiting in line to use the bathroom / shower at any given time. But, other than that, it was a good experience - a clean, well-taken care of, well-managed campground.

This was a quiet place to stay with a clean bathroom and shower. The host was extremely nice and accommodating when we asked to change sites due to the first one being too small for our RV camper. This is my 2nd stay here and I will for sure be back in the future.

If I could give this campsite more than five stars, I would. My best friend and I stayed here for three nights, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Montana trip. Terri is the kind of host who makes you feel like you’re staying with an old friend. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The property itself was peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to unwind after long days of exploring. You can tell Terri truly cares about creating a great experience for her guests, and that personal touch made all the difference. We left feeling grateful we found this little gem and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you’re looking for a campsite with an amazing host and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. Thank you, Terri, for making our Montana adventure even more memorable!

My brother-in-law stayed in site 12 in his camper van. The site was level and he had no problems. We were next to him in our class CRV insight 12. We did not have problems with the water or electrical hook up. The sewer connection at his site was accessible. This campground is perfectly located for exploring the east side of the park or going up to Waterton Lakes.

We had a great stay at Duck Lake Lodge! Terri and Max were super hosts. The lodge was an awesome place to sit on a comfy couch with WiFi and enjoy a cup of coffee. I would highly recommend stopping in for breakfast! The omelettes were super delicious with plenty of ingredients on the inside. The location is amazing. It is so close to Many Glacier and St Mary’s entrances to Glacier. We watched deer many mornings come out of the woods at our site and enjoyed the tree coverage!

We had a great time here - this was a nice location, just minutes away from Many Glacier and the St Mary entrance at Glacier NP. We used this as a Basecamp and went day-hiking as a family of four. Awesome spot if you're a birder! The sites were on the smaller side, but well laid out and marked. It was nice to have the lodge on site where you could buy ice, firewoood, and snacks. The only downside was limited bathroom facilities for campers.

We loved being in the trees at Duck Lake Lodge! There was plenty of room at our site for two tents and our gear. Kids lived seeing up their hammocks and seeing our neighbors hanging out in their own. Everyone was so friendly & helpful. Terri is so kind.
