Property was great! The host's instructions were great to get there as well since it's a bit out of the way to get there. Definitely listen to the reviews though! Really tight to get there and would recommend 4WD pretyy heavily. We went up with two new Gen tacomas and made it there with little issue. Mine is 4WD and the other was 2WD. The 2WD tacoma made it through the ruts but some spots were slightly challenging to get through so just be cautious. The brush is really thick since we went on July 4th so the trucks got scratched up a lot so just keep that in mind if you decide to drive to the campsite. If you decide not to drive in the site is accessible by a 15 minute level ground hike in from the parking spots. Definitely an awesome view and a good campsite with lots of privacy. Plus since we went on 4th of July we were able to see some firework shows going on! Will definitely be back sometime!
Fun 4-wheeling up the mountain. Just listen to Sandra’s directions and you’ll be fine. When she says “Go right”, don’t go “left”. 🤦🏼♀️ but 4wd is a must.
Sunset was worth it. I did put up a couple signs to make sure I didn’t have any uninvited guests. Found a little shade. Enjoyed my stay.
Awesome spot but the trail up is a bit of a nightmare. Deep water and ruts. I made it through in a F-150 but didn’t end up staying because it was supposed to rain that night and I was worried the trail would become too much in the morning. If you were in a sedan you would have no chance getting to the site.
If you don’t have a four wheel drive with high clearance, then I don’t recommend taking the risk. We weren’t able to stay and had to make other arrangements because the roads were not drivable. Honestly, you may need a tank. 😂
If you do take a chance and book, then need to find another spot, try Rock Creek Disc Golf Course and Campground (very close to this site). We walked the whole road up and it’s rough from start to finish. The owner chooses to keep it this way to keep out unwanted guest.

Awesome view. One of the earlier puddles on the way in was very deep when I went through. I would avoid the puddles as much as possible.
Really nice piece of property. We had a black and white dog follow us all the way to the campsite, but he was friendly (to people and kids- can't confirm about other dogs) and left after a few hours.
Nice stay. Area has been super dry so the mud holes were not as challenging. We have started putting caution tape up across the road to deter the locals from visiting the site while we are there- and it has worked well the last 2 trips. The only visitor we had this trip was a very friendly dog that spent the day with us.
I love this campsite. I think this was our 4th visit. It's an adventure to get out there but that's part of the fun if you know what to expect.

Another amazing evening on the bluff. Quite, peaceful location with just enough off roading to get your vehicle dirty.
This was our 3rd or 4th trip to the site. It's a beautiful location and the road in is an (unmarked and unlabeled) adventure. I would ignore Chelsea H's advice- she clearly knows how to drive her 2wd CRV! We had a lifted Tundra in our group that took on so much mud it did an alternator on the way home and we had to have it towed....

Make sure to have high clearance and maybe a paddle boat if it’s rained recently - which it had for us. You can attempt to go through deep standing water that you can’t see to the bottom of or a very rutted/trenched out road or both. You can also hike in but we were not prepared for that option- it was a no go for our Expedition 100%

This site is beautiful! Sun set is amazing. You are on the side of a bluff all alone.
The drive to the site was a fun little adventure—definitely muddy and rutted, but totally expected with the recent rain. We made it just fine in a 2WD Honda CR-V; just gotta know how to drive 😎.
Once there, the views were absolutely incredible! We cooked up steak and potatoes, made s'mores by the fire, and just soaked it all in. Heard a bobcat overnight, which was wild, but nothing came close to camp. There was plenty of brush and dead limbs around for firewood, and the fire area even had stones already set up.
We brought along our 6-month-old pup and camped with a tent and hammock—had the best time. Cozy, scenic, and just enough wilderness to feel like a real escape.
Highly recommend if you’re up for a bit of rugged fun!
Incredible spot! Lots of room for multiple tents if needed. Private with amazing views of the surrounding area. Highly recommend!
We went after some heavy rains and 4x4 was most certainly required.

Campsite has a great view and is a really unique setup. The trail to get to it though simply has to be improved. If you bring anything bigger than a jeep wrangler you will struggle. It is very narrow because of overgrown bush and trees. Massive ruts that need lots of clearance and mud tires.
My Husband & I were so excited to camp at this spot, had it on our list for a year, & booked it a couple of weeks out. A few days before our booking, we noticed the weather was looking risky for the dates we picked. Thankfully, we had paid for the weather coverage, so we could be refunded if the weather was really bad and noncampable. I reached out to the camp host & we decided it was not a good weekend because the weather & we were right! It ended up storming & we had tornado watches-- very glad we opted out of it. The camp host agreed to allow me to change the dates instead of refunding & booking again. However, I have since been ghosted after asking why there was a fee to change the dates, as I was unaware & would have preferred a refund. But now I have no refund or hope of camping in this beautiful spot. Really bummed.
First off, Sandra was unresponsive and altogether unhelpful despite the listing saying to message her for directions. Do not go to the PIN she provided. It’s not even close. The trip into the site is littered with thorns and tree limbs that will scratch your vehicle(everywhere). No maintenance whatsoever. I actually moved two trees that were across the path just to get in. There are HUGE mud holes that will bottom you out & there is no help to get you out. To avoid them you must be willing to take scratches all down your vehicle. I would only suggest going if you have a jeep or ATV. It is a beautiful site once you get there but this is most likely land passed down that is no longer maintenanced and rented out to make a buck. Pretty place but do not recommend. PS we got stuck and lucked out to find some guys willing to help . We did not get to the site until 8pm because of this & no refund or reduction was given despite the POOR maintained entrance & poor communication. Thanks.

Site was really special. Amazing views and privacy.
This a beautiful location. We love camping here. The drive in is an adventure, but that's part of the fun for us! Our only complaint was the ATV that drove through our campsite at midnight. I wish there was some attempt at securing the site for paying guests. Even a yellow plastic chain that indicated the site was rented/ private.

It’s a beautiful spot, but there are a couple of concerns with getting to the location. First the host was great and communicated well. I read on some other reviews the trail was narrow and 4wd was needed. Not a problem for me on the 4wd part, but my truck is wider than a jeep or Toyota, so I asked the host if I’d be able to get through. She responded, and said she thought I would be able to but there were some tight spots and the sneak around for the mud puddles was mainly where it got narrow. 15 feet into the trail is a long deep mud hole, with a sneak around that’s ver tight. I made it through the sneak around as I could see tires sticking up in the mud hole so was worried about what else I might find going through it. I scraped on my rock sliders against a tree making the sneak around, no big deal. The rest of the way bag to the campsite was a combination of mud holes and narrow sneak arounds. I mostly just hit the mud holes with a little momentum and my differential locked and although the holes were pretty soft, I made it through no problem. The site itself was large and mostly flat. It was quiet and nice. Would definitely go again. The cows and dogs below the site stop making noise shortly after dark.
Fun trail leading to the site, definitely need 4x4 and good clearance. Don’t get stuck like me because you tried to go through mud you shouldn’t have. There are plenty of go around trails for the bigger mud puddles. View was absolutely fantastic.

This spot was awesome. Great view and the moon was so bright that we were able to night hike. Strongly recommend this place for cowboy camping outside of your tent!
I love this site, but I have some suggestions to make it more worthwhile:
1. There are no directions to tell you how to get there. The reservation info said to contact the owner for directions, but she did not respond to me. I happen to be very familiar with the area so I was able to figure it out, but I would have been very disappointed if I booked it and had no way to find it.
2. The trail is really rough getting in there. The app said it required 4x4, but if there has been any rain at all you should take a second vehicle as well. Narrow passages that may scrape your paint. Just maybe post some pics of the road to show potential users. Or do a little clearing of the trail to make it better.
3. There was no signs posted anywhere on the trail, so there is nothing stopping a group of randoms from just pulling up to your camp site with you. The camp site you paid for. I went on a Sunday night so it didn't happen to me, but I'm pretty sure this site gets plenty of use on the weekends. If I'm not paying for it then I have nothing to complain about. But if I pay $40 for the camp site and then have people show up to share it with me, that isn't cool. Maybe just put up a few signs that say private property and "reservation required" or something.
Other than that, it is a great view and a great place to camp. If you like rappelling and climbing, it is even better.
Beautiful site with a nice hike from the road. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful spot. Not much for directions on finding it.
Make sure you have a good 4x4 and either skills or bravery for the trail in because it is worth it. Absolutely beautiful views of the valley below. You could hear cows, donkeys, and a lot of dogs barking at times but we enjoyed everything about the experience. We will definitely visit again.

This is a beautiful bluff. Getting there was a problem but if you have a good 4-wheel drive or park closer to road, you can hike in. Not for car camping. Host is very helpful.
