This modern yurt escape offers everything you need to be off the grid and decompress. This yurt is very thoughtfully designed and setup. The yurt is about a mile up the hill in the Town of Marble on a back county graded road. Be prepared for a quiet starry night and views that go on for miles. The locals are super friendly and helpful with hikes and things to do in town. We setup our iPhones on the deck, since we did not need them, to do time-lapse videos of the mountains and clouds rolling through the day.
For this trip we had our kids with us and they had a blast!
Make no mistake, Marble is "off the grid". You will not get cell phone or internet at this location however you can make local calls if necessary from the yurt landline. Day trips to Crystal Mill and Redstone offer time to explore this vast and beautiful area of Colorado.
Evan was super helpful with all of our questions and had very prompt communication. The yurt was clean and we felt very safe with Evans COVID-19 protocol.
Evan's yurt was excellent! The directions were great and getting to the yurt was easy. The yurt itself was well equipped, super comfortable, and warm. Very glad to have gotten a chance to stay there and explore Marble, an incredibly cute town
Wow!! this yurt completed exceeded all expectations in every way. Impeccably clean and well-stocked with anything you could need. SO COMFY- those futon beds are super cozy! The heating was easy to figure out and it was really nice to have a gas stove pumping basically at the flick of a switch. For glamping in late December, this was pretty luxurious and we often forgot we were off-grid. Evan was very communicative and helpful. Clearly so much love has been poured into this adorable yurt. It's well-designed, has cute decor, and sooo many thoughtful hooks- no need soggy clothes draped over a chair. There's even a bluetooth speaker!
We really enjoyed walking around the area in the snow. The mountain views right off the front porch are to die for. What an amazing place! Marble, and nearby Redstone, are very quaint little mountain towns and we loved exploring them a bit. Wish we had spent more time there! The river you drive past on the way in is also stunningly beautiful. So many cool things to do around here, such as hot springs, backcountry skiing, hiking, etc.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Truly one of my favorite Hipcamps.

It qas such a fantastic place. Very very nice. Just what we needed.
Nothing is needed to improve this yurt it is perfect.
And when we got there Evan had left us a welcome note with some homemade cookies very special
This place was amazing! Warm and cozy, had everything we needed and then some! Loved that it was dog friendly. Unbeatable views. Star filled night sky. Peaceful. Ugh! Cannot wait to go back!
Evan & Meg's yurt was the perfect spot for a hygge-filled weekend getaway for us. It's got everything you need and nothing you don't, the location is breathtaking and peaceful, and – above all – it was an unbelievably comfortable and peaceful place to disconnect for a while. We're all greatly looking forward to returning soon!
Wow, where to start? I knew this yurt looked amazing just by seeing the pics online. It was exactly as advertised. Everything you could need, spices, kitchen stocked well. Futons comfortable, heat was cozy. Bathroom was beautiful, sparking clean! I will say the 4wd recommendation is no joke. We went in early March and had a big snow while there and I used 4low in my Jeep each day we left and returned to property. You will not make it to the yurt in winter w AWD or just snow tires, be aware of that. The views from the cute porch were fantastic. The location is so quiet and peaceful. It is a great place to unplug, read books and play card games. I highly recommend this special property!

Wow! This place exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous views, well appointed kitchen, super comfy futons and cozy atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was so nice to come back to a warm yurt after long days of skiing. We especially enjoyed having the Bluetooth hookup for music. Evan was very attentive when we had a question about the thermostat. The road up to the yurt was quite the adventure after fresh 8+ inches of snow so make sure you have a properly equipped vehicle. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Evan and Meg for sharing your beautiful little home with us.
Having never stayed in a yurt before I admit my expectations were low, but the yurt Meg and Evan have put together exceeded my expectations greatly!
Not only was there a great guestbook with great instructions on how to use everything but you could tell that a lot of details were thought out.
The yurt felt like a nice upgrade from traditional camping but yet also made you feel you were “roughing it” a little. Perfect!
