This camping trip was honestly everything we could have asked for and more. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing outdoors. Waking up to the calm water and open space was incredible. We even took a small boat out on the water which made the experience feel like a little adventure.
The campsite itself was great — plenty of space, a covered area for cooking and hanging out, and everything felt clean and well kept. It was the perfect mix of being outdoors while still having the basics you need.
Our dog had the best time too. She got to explore, relax, and even ride in the boat with us which made the trip even more special.
The views, the quiet atmosphere, and the overall experience made this one of our favorite camping trips. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, enjoy nature, and just have a great time outside, this spot is definitely worth it. We will absolutely be coming back.

We really enjoyed our first stay on the ranch! The spot is perfect for families with kids and dogs, trailers or tents. The extra amenities like row boats, firewood, plenty of seating, huge picnic/cooking area and flush toilets really set this place apart. Travis was a great host and made our stay stress-free and super relaxing.
(The weather was beautiful at the end of October) We can’t wait to go back!

This was our second time there this summer and it was an absolute blast. Grounds are so clean and well kept bathrooms. Host is very welcoming! Definitely will be planning a return trip.

The BEST experience we had. I can’t Thank enough to Travis for providing such a wonderful campsite. It is well maintained, lot of facilities, its scenic. Special Thanks from our kids for Barn tour. They enjoyed and not stopping to talk about it even after reaching home. Thanks giving us a your time. Travis is a wonderful host. I will definitely recommend this camp site and myself keep visiting it.

We had an incredible time camping with our family at this beautiful location. The lake was perfect, we caught fish and played games on the big grass field. Would definitely come back. Travis was a great host!

This was truly a peaceful & private place. The breeze at night after the heat of the day was so refreshing. Very dog friendly. And being close enough to town to pick up supplies & far enough away to not hear the city's sounds was perfect. We already have plans in place for next year.

This site was perfect for us and our dogs. It was peaceful and felt private! We enjoyed rowing on the fish-filled lake and watching goats on the hillside. The picnic area had a fridge, fans, misters, and shade to beat the July heat. The restroom was nearby and kept clean. At night, the bright moon over the lake was beautiful, and morning was cool and crisp. Travis was a welcoming host, and the ranch shows great care. Very close to town in case we needed supplies. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

This was our third stay at Leards L3 Ranch. A little hot at 100°+ each day but the lake water was refreshing and a breeze and the misters kept us cool enough. We made good use of the bbq and it’s always a bonus to have electricity while camping. Such a beautiful and relaxing place which we will return to.

Second time camping here. Always a good time. Travis is a great host. Just wish the water plants were not taking over the lake. Last year we were able to paddle up the inlet to the lake but this year it was completely overgrown. We will be back though! Thanks Travis!

Travis's land is a beautiful place to camp. Very private which is nice, you do not have to scramble for shoreline to swim with other campers. Turn off your phone, and fall into R&R mode for your stay. Having a bathroom that was nice and clean was huge. Travis is a very gracious, and welcoming host which was very nice. We are going back to the site. In about 3 weeks for some more family and relax time. Highly recommended.

A slice of heaven! Travis's ranch is pure magic. We love coming here - our dogs have an amazing time running around in the water, and the amenities are unparalleled. It is so nice to have shaded picnic tables with electricity, flush toilets, and even a refrigerator! Travis is a kind and friendly host, and he is very attentive to our needs. We hope to make this a family tradition year after year.

Amazing and beautiful land. Easy to find and access. Very spacious. My dogs had a lot of fun running around. Love the boats available to borrow and the shaded kitchen area. Host met us and showed us our spot. He was very kind and responsive. Place felt pretty private, except you can hear some of the other dogs from far away homes. Also since it’s a working farm, there was a horse with a handler and another instance some kids on a vehicle passed by on the road to the campsite, so these things may remind you it’s not quite secluded. Didn’t bother us as the rest of the time we were left alone to enjoy the beautiful site. Would highly recommend.

Our group had a great experienced and we would love to come back. The camp site is on a beautiful lake with boats to take out. The kitchen is overlooking the lake and has a roof with a nice propane grill and even a small fridge. It was nice to have flush toilets too. Really an ideal place for families with kids. Travis, the host, was very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you Travis for your hospitality and for sharing your beautiful land with us!

I love Travis' place! He's super responsive to your needs if you call him for something and you also get privacy for your group while you're there. Amenity upgrades like the refrigerator/freezer make this a very good camping experience to bring folks who aren't used to the outdoors. This place is so unique and great.

The only thing better than the stunning views and immaculate property was the host. Travis met us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly. He gave a tour of the amenities, which far exceeded our expectation, and offered to be a quick phone call away if we needed anything. Our visit was positively memorable and we hope to be back!

Second visit here and it was just as lovely as the first time. It's beautiful, private and safe. I would suggest bringing your own adult life jackets to swim across to the waterfall. It's a really nice swim.

My fiancée and I stayed here last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. It is very secluded and we had a blast with our pups. The lake is gorgeous and has a canoe, row boat, and kayak. The area is very well maintained and Travis was extremely kind and responsive. This is genuinely the best place I have ever camped and I have been camping hundreds of times. We will undoubtedly return again.

This place was magical. I took my 2 kids camping here. We went boating in the lake, caught a fish, and made s’mores by the campfire. This spot of good for casual camping and families with small kids as there are power outlets, a pretty good outdoor bathroom, outdoor lighting, picnic tables, grill, even an outdoor fridge. Before we headed home, Travis let my kids see the horses on the ranch. My kids and I had a very memorable trip, and we hope to be back soon!

Loved our stay at the ranch! This was our second time there. It was hot during the day but the lake, water misters, and breeze kept us cool and it was cool enough at night to enjoy a fire. The shaded picnic area is a lifesaver! Lots of wild life viewing including a great white egret and an osprey. Great fun racing across the lake in the canoe. We made use of the fishing rods and worms we found in the fridge and even snagged a tiny fish! No fish for dinner but it was fun. We’ll definitely be back.

This was a great site for us. We arrived late afternoon stocked with supplies. Travis gave us a quick tour of the site and then we quickly settled in. Travis has you all set up with electricity, running water, a big shade cover with lots of seating, and a pile of firewood. Our teenage sons and two dogs loved having the ability to roam free. Small fish were biting right off the side of the dock which made for great fishing for the kids. Time stood still for nearly 48 hours! We were sad to leave.
