Best night ever
We had so much fun camping in the Raw desert in Joshua Tree! the night sky was stunning, it's a fairly private location, and right now there is a lot of really beautiful wild flowers!! it was great for us to get back in touch with nature and you can believe we are going to be coming back to this place quite often!! Love love loved it!
This site was perfect! A little drive from Joshua Tree town but so worth the drive. The campsite is pretty remote so it's very secluded and quiet! Only difficulty was finding the silver sign for the campgrounds but other than that, the place was amazing. Perfect view of a gorgeous sunset, unobstructed view of the sunrise, and countless stars at night. I would recommend this site for groups of campers or even a private getaway.
Beautiful scenery and lovely setup
We had a great time staying at Copper Moon Camp! Mindy was awesome and super easy to work with, answering all our questions quickly and giving great local tips. The directions were pretty straight forward, although I thought the sign would be closer to Copper Moon Ln than it was. We drove past it once, but ended up finding it pretty much right next to the GPS coordinates provided. The dirt roads were no problem for my truck, and any car would probably be just fine. The campsite was awesome, it had a fire pit and tons of room to pitch a tent and setup camp, and a portable toilet. The plot of land was plenty big, but we have a dog that is spooked easily at the occasional car driving down the road, nearby ATVs, etc. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful scenery and a lovely setup.
10/10 experience!! the sign was a bit hard to find but once we eventually found it it was perfect! so private and open. the night sky was beautiful and the sunrise was great too❤️we will totally be coming here again we loved it. (the sign is right near the house that says caution dogs)
Beautiful, simple campsite
Great, simple campsite close to Joshua Tree. It had a place for fire but beyond that it’s beautiful open land. The roads were unpaved to get to the campsite. Definitely possible to do in most cars, just be aware.
The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! You are surrounded by desert mountains and peace.
