White Oak Lake Campground

This Arkansas State Park is very well maintained and has a lot to offer for a "smaller" park. The forest it sits in is gorgeous full of huge mature pines, oaks and beech trees among many others. The park also offers great rentals from motorized boats, to kayaks and canoes and bikes. They even let you borrow a rod and reel for free! The staff here is amazing and treat you like your an old friend. They have hiking trails of various lengths that are under a mile, 1-2 miles, and longer bike routes that are several miles long. Along the hikes you cross over creeks as well as hike along the lake, which has excellent fishing. They have numerous RV sites and 4 tent only sites that sit secluded by a trail head and 50 yards from the lake edge!
