We have the King River very close 5 min's by road , and are surrounded by magnificent wineries and bushland to wander around in. Campers can choose from 3 different locations for their stay. The camp is in or around Shelter Hut or open grass land in your own Tent. Campers will have access to two composting toilets during their stay but you will need to bring along your own toilet paper with you. Please remove all rubbish on departure. Campfires we sell firewood and dogs are welcome but dogs aren't allowed roam freely due to wildlife.

Only 3 large campsites! Great for family groups and friends, lots of room. Kids under 5 stay free, pet friendly. North East Vic is a tourist mecca, with food and wine, lakes and rivers, cycling and markets, mountains and waterfalls. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 20 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. Please read the whole listing, lots to tell you about us. Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people). Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people). Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here. Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly. Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite. Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.**** We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites. Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there. Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district. The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive! Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo. 8kms to Moyhu which has a pub, coffee shop, general store - all with great food options. You can get petrol, take away, gas etc.

Nature lovers will love the serenity of the bush where wildlife abounds (the kangaroos use our paddocks as a freeway at dusk and dawn), adventure lovers will love the trails and tracks for riding and those who appreciate gold panning might just find a nugget or two I hear from local prospectors! Sorry to say No Generators and No Loud music Set in the King Valley close to the foothills of the Wabonga Plateau Alpine National Park. We have the King River very close 5 min's by road , and are surrounded by magnificent wineries and bushland to wander around in. Campers can choose from 3 different locations for their stay. The camp is in or around Shelter Hut or open grass land in your own Tent. Campers will have access to two composting toilets during their stay but you will need to bring along your own toilet paper with you. Please remove all rubbish on departure. Campfires we sell firewood and dogs are welcome but dogs aren't allowed roam freely due to wildlife.

We are just 10 minutes from Albury which has plenty of shops to stock up on all your camping and road trip needs. Just over an hour to the snowfields. Your pets are welcome to join you, please ensure they are kept on a leash and don't disturb other campers. It is in a great central location just off the Hume Highway, the perfect place to stop on your next road trip.
