Wow, what a beautiful hipcamp area Kickin Back is! As we entered the gate, we were taken back by the surrounding views and the lovely green lawn that covered all the campsites. Large ponds in front of the land with decks around, allow for peaceful sitting. The running creek just beside is a lullaby for a good night's sleep. The caws in the paddock and little sheep roaming around the greens add a lovely touch to the bucolic camping environment. Certainly, this was our best hipcamp stay till now. We couldn't have had better hosts than Jai and Colin. From their friendly greeting at the gate when we arrived to all their attention to make our stay comfortable. Jai's Shirilanka curry is a must-experience; it is so yummy!
Colin is a source of knowledge about the area, its environmental evolution, and other issues. Great to chat with. With no hesitation, we highly recommend Kickin Back as a place to relax on your holidays around the Victorian Alpine Happy Valleys. Thank you Jai & Colin.

What a spot! Absolutely loved our time spent at Jai & Colin's slice of heaven.
Super friendly and helpful. We had a fire pit full of great try wood ready to go on our arrival.
Definitely one of our favorite Hipcamps we have stayed at. We grabbed a great patch up in their top paddock.

This was our first hipcamp experience and what a great place to start! Jai & Colin were truly the most welcoming and friendly hosts, walking us through the sites to pick which one we liked the best. Their property is so beautiful with all of the surrounding mountains and wildlife.
Our two golden retrievers had the best time and even made friends with their cows. We will definitely be back, thank you Jai and Colin for the best weekend.

Our first Hipcamp was a success!
An awesome place to relax amongst the mountains. Jain & Colin were amazing host's & two of the loveliest people we have ever met. The entire property was green & well-kept and has a number of camp sites along the creek. This camp is dog friendly, and our 6-month Kelpie loved watching the friendly sheep & cows roam the property. This is an awesome place to relax by the fire & take in the surrounding mountains. We will be back !
