The main fish in the river are trout and cod so if you would like to try your luck fishing this is the place for you.Some of the surrounding towns include Mt Beauty (20 mins), Yackandandah (30 mins), Bright (50 mins), Beechworth (50 mins) Falls Creek (60 mins) with the border towns of Albury and Wodonga only 50 mins away. These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets. For biosecurity reasons there is a strict No Pet policy. We have the King River very close 5 min's by road , and are surrounded by magnificent wineries and bushland to wander around in. Campers can choose from 3 different locations for their stay. The camp is in or around Shelter Hut or open grass land in your own Tent. Campers will have access to two composting toilets during their stay but you will need to bring along your own toilet paper with you. Please remove all rubbish on departure. Campfires we sell firewood and dogs are welcome but dogs aren't allowed roam freely due to wildlife.

Our property is located on a 10-acre block on the banks of the Murray River. We are approximately 3km from the town centre but have a private and secluded feel with no close neighbours. A peaceful base camp to retreat back to after exploring the region. Nestled on the river bank, among the gum trees and pines, are beautiful shady, camping spots, welcoming self-contained campers, with plenty of room for you to set up comfortably. A stone's throw from camp you'll find a great place to fish for Murray Cod and crays, a spot from which to launch your canoes or paddle boards, the bank is quite steep and you can access using a ladder which is shown in photos. There is access to many wonderful cycling tracks and rail trails in the area. There is a corner shop within walking distance, and great cafes and restaurants close by. The Witches Garden on the Mitta Mitta River

Our Mitta River and Callaghan Creek unpowered campsites are along waterways where there is access to the water. Not far from these camp sites is our garden which we open to the public for weddings and events. The gardens are very extensive and beautiful and there are chooks and a large vegie garden and in season (usually summer and autumn) we have excess veg available to campers. We also have chooks and farm animals so dogs must be kept under control. Our area has very little mobile phone coverage but if you are with Telstra you will be fine as there is a Telstra tower not far away. On Callaghan Creek Road we have a peaceful camping spot by the creek. This is in a secluded and very pretty spot on our farm. 4 wheel drive needed as you will be driving across paddocks and down a short steep hill to the creek. Off-road caravan friendly. Children welcome but must be supervised at all times (farms can be dangerous) Well behaved dogs on lead are allowed. No amenities campers must have own camping toilet and be self-contained.

Roseneath Bundalong

We are situated smack bang in the middle of cropping land. Our 20 acres is developed and we boast a pool, spa, sauna and “man cave”. Horses are welcome at a nominal extra cost, but certainly welcome. The shed or man cave boasts hot and cold water and basic shower and toilet by arrangement ( you must be self sufficient campers) The bar is semi functional with an approach that anything in the shed is yours but replace what you have used. The shed has a good TV and fire which makes for fun times watching your team play It is a shed and would be best described as rough rustic but comfortable with a wood fire and rustic bar and comfortable lounge. The pool is clean and situated in a big yard in front of your camp. There is enough space for your camp set up and tow vehicle. Power is available to re charge by arrangement with the host. This camp suits the self sufficient campers for a couple of days or a stop over for the weary. Bundalong hosts horse events and of course is a skiing and fishing Mecca. Bundalong Tavern, Squires Winery and Watts in Bundalong are exceptional locations who cater for all tastes in food, craft, beer, and wine. Fires are encouraged within the law with some wood available at a minor cost. Fire pits are not provided at this stage. Campers are a short drive from Yarrawonga, Mulwala and Cobram. And an easy drive from Corowa, Rutherglen or an hours drive to the King Valley. We suggest Google these sites and plan your activities according to age, interests and taste.

Kielock Homestead is a unique farm stay experience located centrally in the beautiful Kiewa Valley Victoria where you can camp right on the bank of the Kiewa River. Some of the activities available include fishing, swimming, bush walking, bird and animal watching and bike riding. If you choose you can join in on farm activities such as feeding the animals, collecting eggs and planting/harvesting fruit and vegetables. We have a small market garden available where you can pick and purchase seasonal fresh produce, alternatively vegetable boxes and eggs are available by arrangement and delivered right to your campsite. Within the 200 acres of the property you will find it is home to many animals including kangaroos wombats platypus possums, bats and many bird and marine species. The main fish in the river are trout and cod so if you would like to try your luck fishing this is the place for you.Some of the surrounding towns include Mt Beauty (20 mins), Yackandandah (30 mins), Bright (50 mins), Beechworth (50 mins) Falls Creek (60 mins) with the border towns of Albury and Wodonga only 50 mins away. These beautiful towns contain an array of boutique wineries, craft breweries, bakeries and cafes, or you can choose to follow a farm gate food trail.The area also provides opportunities to go horse-riding, bike riding on one of the many rail trails or be adventurous on the mountain bike tracks at Falls Creek in the warmer months with snow sports in winter. The surrounding mountain ranges offer numerous famous 4wd trails or you might like to try your hand at panning for gold.This is a working farm and our animals are our family. They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. Be aware that all fences are electric and are switched on at all times. There is a dedicated communal campfire area for use when fire restrictions permit and we request that no additional fire pits are created during your stay. As this is a working property we are unable to accommodate your pets. For biosecurity reasons there is a strict No Pet policy.
