Whispering Pines is a hidden gem in the middle of a part of Wisconsin that feels more like the Smoky Mountains than the upper Midwest. We were welcomed by Brandon, who was a fascinating person and recently chose the simpler life away from the city. He welcomed us campers into that slower lifestyle and the sites and ammenities were above average (outhouse, fire ring, picnic table, views!)

Super accommodating experience. Really nicely maintained place. Highly recommended. One helpful suggestion would be to put signage at the driveway.

Beth and Pat were so nice and helpful. They were communicative leading up to our stay and welcomed us when we arrived. We were the only guests this early season weekend and had the place all to ourselves. Everything was great -- we had one of 3 or 4 camp spots -- which included dry firewood, a firepit, and a picnic table. The only thing I would have hoped for is a spot further back in the woods, but that is just personal preference. The occasional car passing by on the road could be heard and if there would have been other campers in the other spots, we would have heard them as well. But, overall a really positive experience! Thank you Beth and Pat!

Pat and Beth have such a neat property! They are kind and welcoming hosts, and everything is just as wholesome as it looks in the listing. They are surrounded by beautiful hilly farmland-- there's so much to look at.
Unfortunately we had to leave a night early so we did not get to explore as much as we would have liked, but we hope to visit again!

Hi, Sydney: We're so glad you enjoyed the property. We also were disappointed you had to leave early, as we know there was still so much more for you to experience and enjoy. We welcome you back again when you can make it. Beth & Pat

Beth and Pat were amazing hosts! Everything was excellent, very quiet, very secluded campground. My group had an excellent time for a weekend. Pleanty of hiking and trails for those who want it, or sit back in camp and relax with your friends and family. +1 wood on every site, +2 fire rings in place, +3 some groomed trails for those who don't want to forage on a walk. Just be aware, no internet is available and for us it was exactly what we wanted.
