We have recently purchased this piece of land that we get to call home. It is 98 acres, 88 of which is designated conservation bushland. This means we are the custodians of this land which is home to a wide variety of birds and animals some endangered and protected as well as specimens of flora indigenous to this area. We are situated amongst some of the best land in the South West for growing grapes as evidenced by the number of high-end vineyards on our doorstep. Being 5 minutes from the town centre of Margaret River gives guests here access to all of the amenities of the area. Located 5 minutes from Margaret River town centre, you can holiday within an 88-acre designated conservation bush property. You will find yourself on the doorstep of all the culinary, wine and adventure opportunities the South West region has to offer. The eastern edge of the property is the Wadandi Track that runs from Cowaramup to Witchcliffe; beautiful for walking and biking. We’re also minutes away from the vineyards of Xanadu, and both Voyager and Leeuwin Estates. Enjoy the quiet of the dark starry nights, catch glimpses of the kangaroos and emus that visit the paddocks, as well as endangered owls and the animal our road is named for, the brush-tailed possum. There is lots of bushwalking to be had without leaving the property, walk along the fire breaks and take in the stunning woodland vistas, or, you can make your way around to our NE gate which will put you right on the Wadandi Track. About 500 metres south on the Track from our gate will find you at the sneaky back entrance of our next-door neighbours, Amaze'n Margaret River with their giant hedge maze, cafe and other family activities. We feel so fortunate to live in such a beautiful spot and look forward to sharing it with you!
