We are a small, mostly off grid homestead farm with chickens, pigs, goats and bunnies, located 1.25 miles off the paved road, over 2 miles from the nearest residence. Our hideaway farm is 80 acres centered on the convergence of two babbling creeks, in a valley between three mountains. We are happy to teach you about our homestead lifestyle or set your campsite and just relax. Our Main Circle is where our bonfires, cabana, and home trailer is. You are welcome to camp at the Main Circle where we have electricity and Wifi or you can camp elsewhere. Campers are encouraged to camp at Kolb Field along Coon Creek, under a great-grandfather walnut tree or hike the mountain and set camp secluded away from everyone. We have a public dirt road that is seldom traveled through the property, we do suggest having an SUV or 4x4 when coming but, regular cars can get here and we can help you get to your site in our pick up truck. RVs and non-4x4 cars can only get to the camp area during dryer times of the year, please ask if you have a RV. If you have a car that can't get to Kolb Field because of high water, we do have other areas you can camp at.

INSTANT BOOKINGS and SAME DAY, Please take note, we may miss your message because we may be out on the property and not be connected. If we don't respond don't fear, the directions are accurate, please see the map. You are welcome even if we don't get right back to you, come on down and see us!

This was exactly what we wanted! Primitive, private, such gracious hosts! We arrived super late and were still escorted safely to our site, near the babbling creek in a nicely cleared meadow. Plenty of downed wood for a fire. We will stay here every time we come down this way. I almost hope it stays our secret!

It's a hideaway. Nic instructions were great. He made sure you were comfortable and had everything you need. I would stay there again.

This location is beautiful, very private, and an overall great place to camp!! I camped alone with my dog and felt safe. Both Nik and his wife were awesome. They went above and beyond. When I ran out of brake fluid they kindly grabbed me some for my trip back home and also gave me some yummy food during my trip!!

Wow! we had the best time! Nik He took us around his property and showed us where there used to be a church. We ate dinner with him every night around a fire. I didn’t want to leave. (But we already stayed longer then we had said) hubby had to go to work. It was amazing. I wish I would of took more pictures I was just so interested in what he was saying and everything around I didn’t even think about of photos. Went to a strangers home and left with a new friend. Hard to find ppl like Nik. Thank you again for all your hospitality and kindness.

I didn't make it all the way there partly because I didn't read the details of Nik's directions on their site very well and partly because I kind of panicked when I started losing cell phone coverage. once I got headed in the right direction.

I later discovered that they do have some kind of internet connection that would have worked for me - I can't be out of range because of work but at that point I was back on the highway and long gone. :(

However, II do believe it is a great place. The drive to it was spectacular. If I go by there again I will definitely make a point of stopping there.

We were looking forward to hosting you. Sorry for the delay responding to your message, we were out working on the farm away from our phones. Hope to meet you next time you are in the neighborhood!
