Camp Cacapon - Riverside Pavilion
Gorgeous Pavilion
We stayed were here over Father's Day weekend with a group of 17. Renting the pavilion was the best idea ever and made for a gorgeous, convenient hang-out. We were especially grateful we had rented the pavilion, when it rained for a few hours in the afternoon. It has everything you need for a cook-out and there was plenty of room to spread out. It was great not to have to bring a million folding tables for our huge group. Highly recommend!

Camp Cacapon - Cottages
Charming Cottage
Beautiful little cottages with comfortable beds that are great for those who aren't ready to tent camp. Our family had a big group of 17 for Father's Day and we had an extraordinary time at this very special place. The older members of the group slept in both cottages. The upstairs loft is definitely for the more intrepid - but the incredible view out the window is worth the climb. The grounds are impeccable and photos don't do it justice. It's absolutely quiet and you can't hear any trains, those who slept in the tents all had great night's of sleep. The river is perfect for kids and floating - bring your fishing gear, too. There were two other groups at the campsite and I was worried we would feel squished. But everyone was super respectful and quiet. Tons of games to get the kids entertained, including badminton and cornhole. The drive in the driveway can be a little confusing just bear right at the fork and drive past the owner's cabin down to the loading area. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful - we are so very grateful that they shared their special oasis with us. Highly, highly recommend this gorgeous place!

Best Campground We Have Visited
Impeccably maintained, beautifully built, gorgeous views, and absolutely quiet. Throw in the kindest, most attentive hosts, and you have the best Campground we have ever visited. Read all instructions and respect this special spot, so we all can keep coming back here and make more amazing memories with our friends and family. Can't recommend enough!

Camp Cacapon - Riverside Tent Sites
Long weekend on the river
Camp Cacapon was such a lovely campground. Our dogs loved running around in the grass and swimming in the river was so refreshing. The bathrooms were cool and clean and it was easy to run to town to get last minute items. Mark was a very nice host.
