The vibe at Willow Creek Retreat

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we were very pleased. We were on our way to Yellowstone with our vintage trailer and three boys. Rachel greeted us right away, was very friendly and welcoming. Her property was picturesque, her Arabian Horses roamed in her pasture, the property was large and private, we were even able to set up our hammock between two trees. She has new picnic tables, a fire pit, and beautiful Russian Olive trees for shade. The sunsets and sun rises were magnificent. I HIGHLY recommend Willow Creek.
Willow Creek is a beautiful spot, the rural farm landscape is quite spectacular. The greenery during my early summer visit we stunning. The sunset was gorgeous.
The hosts were very friendly and made a point to greet us soon after our arrival which was nice. They are just setting things up in terms of amenities, but the camping spot was very suitable to my van set up which is accustomed to boondocking.
Visitors should not exactly expect an idyllic country setting as there is a railroad nearby (not very busy) and a nearby military base whose lighting is quite bright. But all and all it is decent spot to rest on your journey.
Willow Creek is lovely! It is a perfect retreat from life, and not far from Riverside State Park or downtown Spokane. Our host, Rachel, is a delight and even recommended a trail that made the trip complete. Ask her about 25 mile trail along the Spokane River. Thanks Rachel!
This was a last minute booking, Rachael contacted me promptly and gave me the directions to the property and all the options I needed to know. Great little spot just outside of Airway Heights. Quiet, beautiful, and and relaxing. Perfect for a weekend getaway or jumping off point for exploring the local area.
This is a lovely, secluded, wooded area. We enjoyed our stay. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. It is close to an Air Force base, so there is some plane activity. However, planes did not take off or land at night or early in the morning. It was no problem.
Rachael was super helpful and friendly. She came out to greet us right away and wanted to make sure we had everything that we needed. The area was secluded and super peaceful. I would definitely recommend it!!
A great clean, simple spot for an overnight stay on our road trip. We booked right at the last minute (an hour out!) and Rachel was very responsive. Rachel generously brought us fresh farm eggs which we cooked for breakfast. The site is next to the airfield which has larg lights, though the vista was still beautiful and no noise from planes at night.
