Such a great little farm at the gateway to the Olympics! We stayed on Mary and Pete’s land a night before hiking Mt Townsend and had a lovely stay. There’re spigots for water and a Port-a-potty around the front. Though we brought our gas grill, there’s a shared fire pit on the property, as well. Thank you for a great stay on your farm, Mary and Pete!
I loved our time at Wildwood Farms! Our hosts were gracious and their property is gorgeous. We stayed in the apple orchard and loved the sound of the waterfall nearby. It as so much more peaceful than rushing out to get a first-come-first-serve spot. Totally exceeded expectations!
Mary and Pete were great! The site is really nice! Lots of apples and blueberries and a large pond. Their farm is beautiful! The camp site is very close to the house but still very nice for a weekend getaway! Mary and Pete are wonderful hosts!
Mary was so kind and welcoming, even with our later than expected arrival. The site was perfect, and the fire and fellow campers were great also. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting a easy low key place to camp and explore the area!
Mary and Pete were very nice and welcoming. There is a pond and fruit trees on their property, and it is a short drive away from mt. Walker viewpoints. They even called the fire department for us prior to our arrival to check if we could use their fire pit during this dry summer! Would recommend this site!
Great experience staying at Wildwood Farms. Mary and her co-host Pete were exceptional. Space was private and beautiful. Would definitely recommend, and look forward to staying here again in the future.
We had a lovely evening on this beautiful small farm. We opted to stay at the campsite near the pond in a big open field next to a small pear orchard and under a big tree. The rushing water hid the sound of the nearby highway, and we had a great view of the stars. this spot had mosquitos, so bring some bug spray! the other site was closer to the hosts home but had a great fire pit. We had all the privacy we needed and a table and chairs were provided for our setup. Mary was a super kind host.
The GPS takes you to the road right next to Wildwood, so just make sure you are turning on Wildwood - from there it was easy to find! I met my sweet hosts upon arrival and they showed me between two different sweet spots I could choose to camp! One is between the apple trees in the orchard and the other spot is under a giant tree next to a creek. I chose that spot because of the awesome swing in the tree next to it and I got to listen to the bubbling creek as I fell asleep that night.
There were plenty of pears and apples to snack on during my time here, so good!! Also a super cool little picnic area next to their pond with the view of the mountains in the distance. It was an absolutely lovely experience getting to stay here.
Quilcene was a wonderful little town too, I was able to go down to the marina and take a hot shower - just make sure you bring quarters! There is no shower on the property, but there is a porta potty available for use. The little grocery store in town has snacks and there is one gas station in town that has fruits, veggies, loose teas and vegan food options.
If you go up in the mountains, there are trails and look out points. It was such a relaxing time in spent at Wildwood Farms.
