Experience the beauty of the Teanaway Valley at the White Owl Ranch. Just outside of Cle Elum at the base of the Cascades, you'll be surrounded by opportunities to hike, fish and take in the sunshine. Relax alongside the private pond on 23 acres, or venture out to the Teanaway River just across the road for fly fishing, tubing and river walks. In the spring guests can venture up the hill for morel mushroom hunting!
We found the ranch just a few years ago and are steadily restoring structures across the property including the main house, an old barn and a tiny blue caretakers house. As we opened up the barn doors for the first time a great white owl flew out into the sky. From then on, it's been the White Owl Ranch.
We've hosted our own family reunions and events at the Ranch, and would love to share the experience with you. A private campground all to yourself is a wonderful thing indeed.
The pond greets you as you turn in from the road, where you'll find 26 sites with water and power, covered built-in BBQ pit, and private ADA compliant bathroom with shower. There are 3 eight foot picnic tables and a firepit, perfect for group gatherings and long nights watching the stars come out.
There are six large spots with utilities, enough room for 6 RVs with tilt outs. Tents can be pitched all around the pond, and we have a 29' 5th Wheel Trailer that can also be rented for your stay. We don't have a sewer hook up for the RVs, but a RV dump is available on site.
You'll feel like you're a world away, but just a 10 minute drive from grocery, supplies and stores in Cle Elum and Suncadia. We're just 1.5 hours from Seattle, 25 miles from Ellensburg. Just over an hour to the Gorge, and 1 hour 20 minutes from Leavenworth.
Keep an eye out for eagles, deer, elk and even moose (really!). We've seen big bobcats, and a wild emu roams the hills. And of course watch for the white owl.
