Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
This is my husband's family ranch. It was a working ranch with cattle. His parents were self-sufficient. They grew cherries, apples, plumbs every kind of berry you can think of. Water for irrigation for the huge garden. His mom Betty canned everything. She also was a wood worker, made their furniture and she was a seamstress. His dad was a licensed trapper and logger. Disorganized
We received a message from the host that our camp site was switched last minute (which was fine) but by the time we arrived (around 8:30pm) there were people in both of the spots we told we were supposed to be (originally and then switched). We messaged the host about this and also about how to purchase wood for a fire but they did not respond. Still have not heard from them. Luckily, the site was easy to find and our neighbors were nice and let us throw our tents down to get a good nights rest. No sign of potable water. Port-a-potty was standard.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Spacious camp sites with fire pit and picnic table. Wood was available to purchase... that was great as we did not bring our own.

Great spot close to great trails
The farm is a very nice place to stay. Very attentive hosts too! Location conveniently close to lots of hiking in the Olympic National Park and Salt-Point Rec Area, as well as tons of other hiking options.

Great Weekday Campsite
This was our first HipCamp experience. We had no idea what to expect. You can only tell so much from the photos. Well, we didn’t actually stay in the main camping area. Those were booked with adventure campers with big canvas tents. The host placed us in a large mowed field. Don’t expect peace and quiet in the evenings on the weekends. You’re sharing this field with 7 other sites (maybe some overflow campers too along the road). However, if you’re staying on a weekday it’s very peaceful and the host accommodates spacing people out. We stayed 3 nights and it was very slow the first two. Then got busy on Saturday. The host (wife & husband) are very nice and welcoming. They would check-in on us at least once a day. They provided a good amount of firewood for $5. At the time, only 4 of the 7 sites had fire pits and table/chairs. The other reviews are true… the porta potty is very clean.
