Cameron’s place was absolutely beautiful. The barn was warm and cozy, the animals friendly and the hosts amazing. Playing with the animals was a great experience as well. We will definitely come back here again, in the summer this time

Very hospitable and just a generally wonderfully stay! Great communication on arrival. I got the chance to talk with Mary Ann a little bit about her farm and there were lots of friendly animals as well. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing property 10/10 it’s nestled in beautiful lush greenery the drive there is very picturesque. Wrapped around in a nice white fence the entrance is gorgeous with gated access feels very private. The camping location has a fire pit and view to a nice barn along with the farm animals. Host was very kind and helpful.

McColl Meadows Farm
Nice flat grassy space for my tent. The picnic table was under a covered area. They had lots of friendly farm animals and the view of the valley from the back of the property was great👍

What a cool place to spend the weekend! We brought 4 kids between the ages of 3-9 and they all had a blast. The hosts really know the meaning of “make yourself at home” and grant you access to their beautiful land and farm animals. My kids loved petting the dogs and horses as well as looking in the chicken coop to see how many eggs had been laid. This place is more than just a campsite - it’s an experience.

McColl Meadows Farm
Would definitely recommend this spot. We were a group of 7 and everyone was very happy with this stay. Besides a rainy night we all had a great time car camping and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. The animals were also super friendly. We bought some fresh eggs for a our breakfast which was perfect. If you’re an animal lover you’ll be in heaven. :)

McColl Meadows Farm
My 4yr old has been begging to go camping. We figured we should ease into camping since we've got a 2 yr old too. Stayed one night. Kids loved the farm animals, the dogs, and the pony ride. We didn't manage to explore any hikes/trails near by, but we had plenty to do. Memorable night for sure. Hosts are kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the stay, the farm is very cute and camping place is clean. There is clean water and neat toilet right next to the campground. We also enjoyed spending some time with the host in the morning: horse riding and watching animal feeding.

It was such a great weekend. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We loved being so close to the animals and even getting to ride a pony!
This is especially a fun spot for Littles. We hope to be back soon.

This was a uniquely special experience with my son & some friends. We camped surrounded by farm animals, helped feed the animals, went for a pony ride, enjoyed the trampoline, pool & breathtaking sunsets…& the stars were incredible. All that said, the best part was our farmer hostess, Marianne, who took time from her busy schedule to share her knowledge of & passion for eco-conscious farming with us, & to make sure we enjoyed our stay with her generous attention.

Fantastic experience, getting to the farm was easy and well-identified, our camp site on the farm was clean and well-kept, with a nice picnic table under shade, a fire pit, and secluded from the roads, perfect for some starry night seeing and campfire smores with friendly cows, horses, and chickens living their lives nearby. A clean, well-kept portapotty just by the barn, with clean potable water for washing hands, doing dishes, filling waterbottles, etc. You can tell the hosts care for their animals, we learned several of the animal's names too!
Our hosts were gracious and easily reachable if we had needed anything, such as fresh eggs (and bacon from nearby when we forgot!) from their chickens, and introducing us to their friendly fluffy clouds (dogs) who loved saying hi and getting pets, but also well-behaved while we were cooking food (better than some humans I know...)
I plan to come here again for sure.

McColl Meadows is a great place to explore and bring kids! My nephew and I had a lovely time making fires, visiting the animals, riding a pony, playing on the trampoline, and exploring nature. The folks who live on the farm are laid back and generous in sharing their place with guests. There was a kids summer camp visiting the day we were there and they also looked like they were having a great time. It’s a charming farm, and it’s fun to camp with lots of animals nearby.

Cute farm with so many animals to pet - my kids loved it! Campsites were very large. Host was onsite & helpful (but gave us privacy too). We’ll definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at McColl farms. Private camp with access to water and outhouse. Ended up coming back to stay for another as we passed back through the area. Highly recommend

10/10 I would recommend McColl Meadows Farm for everyone's next camping trip. This was one of the best camping trips I have ever taken. My 5 year old had so much fun bonding with the farm dogs (especially sweet, mouthy, beautiful Harriet), petting the horses, visiting the chickens and watching the giant furry bulls. The site was enormous and clean. For the first time while camping we didn't get eaten by bugs. The porta potty was clean and accessible and they had a sink nearby to wash our hands. We rented the Camp stove. It was a life saver. The family was so nice and everyone working at the farm was very kind and friendly. I can't stress this next point enough......WE LOVED HARRIET. That giant goofy dog was the highlight of our trip. We can't wait to come back.

Absolutely loved staying at the farm! My nine year old sister and I car camped and she had the time of her life with the horses, cats, dogs, barn, trampoline, pool, and everything else that this farm offered. Our stay really could not have been better.

Cameron was very kind and helpful. The farm is beautiful and my kids loved all the friendly animals. Bring earplugs, the rooster is no joke with the wake up call! Trampoline and pool were a big bonus.

We had a great stay at the farm. It was the perfect place for our first camping trip with our 1.5-year old. He loved seeing the assortment of animals and the freedom to explore. If the weather is nice, you can see a beautiful sunset on the West side of the property.

We had a fun stay at McColl Meadows farm. This was our first camping trip and Cameron had everything we needed.. kids had a great time being surrounded by so many animals.

It was a hidden gem not far from the city.
When my wife first mentioned the McColl Meadows Farm, I was skeptical. It was a small farm with only 2 camping spots. But boy, I was wrong.
Once arrived I had a hard time looking for Camp Site #2, so I contacted Cameron. He came out shortly after & kindly showed me the site, explained the amenities and ins & outs about the family farm that were not even listed on the Hipcamp.
Each site had plenty of fenced-in land for tent, canopy, table, fire pit, parking, and a lot more. There was a barn with hot & cold water. They had a portable potty just outside of barn which was regularly cleaned and sanitized.
And they had horseback riding available for our 3 & 5 years old kids. Fresh eggs were also available to purchase. Cats & dogs roam freely and were friendly to kids.
It was the 1st family camping trip with our children. It surely had a good impression on them that I am writing this review as we are on our 2nd camping trip the following week.
We will definitely come back to the McColl Meadows Farm soon.

A beautiful and spacious ranch, with 2 large grass fields as camp site. It's 3 min walk to toilet and utility sink, very convenient. But the light bulb over the sink is shaded by a shelf, so it would be nice to improve this a bit. We enjoyed our time at badminton court, there is even a small swimming pool. The dogs n cats are friendly, they will sometimes visit us and accompany us over the field. Our daughter loves horse riding there.
