Pack light so that you can hike to the upper meadow where there is privacy. Having prepared for a car camping experience instead, we pitched our tent in a pretty spot by the creek close to the road. However, the traffic noise from Hwy 14 drove us home in the middle of the night.

Sinead was super nice, and she welcomed us onto her property by introducing us to her guard dog, Argus, so we felt safe and taken car of. A brief but steep hike up a small hill exposed spacious rolling hills with gorgeous views and a garden. The campsite was private, and pretty primitive. A grove of trees surrounds the small tent space. Sinead has disc golf on her property, and a beautiful creek! 10 minutes from the Pendleton mill! Great location with restaurant recommendations to match.
