Dragonfen Farm is 17.5 gorgeous acres bordering the Skykomish river slough, in the beautiful "Sky" valley. Nearby by are the historic towns of Sultan, Goldbar and Skykomish. Hiking, fishing and kayaking opportunities abound in the area. We purchased the farm in 2015 and are in the process of turning it into a self sustaining permaculture haven. We have the farming, gardening and animals on the "front five" , and the rest is all virtually untouched woods along the slough.

Great Hosts On Beautiful Land!
The property is located 5 minutes from highway 2 in Sultan. If you like fishing, rafting, kayaking, etc., this is a great basecamp for fishing and exploring the Skykomish river. The wooded campsites are located at the back of the property and are accessible by foot. I set up camp at the first site which is a one minute walk from where you park (I timed it!). Once in the woods, you feel very secluded. I really enjoyed my stay here. The slough that flows through the property is BEAUTIFUL and I saw quite a few fish and birds. If you follow the trail to the far end of the property, there is a small sand bar where you can sit and enjoy the shallow river.

Wonderful host, really pretty grounds. A number of campsites to choose from. Wonderful spot ~5 minute walk from where we parked in the woods, very private. As the description says, no amenities, but a wonderful space with a really great host.

This place is INCREDIBLE! There’s 3 beaches extremely secluded, very off the beaten path. We had such an incredible time and are definitely going to come back multiple times this summer whether it be just us or a group of friends. There are so many different choices of where to put your tents and your camp depending on how alone you want to be or what type of environment you want. I rather go campin here over any actual camp site no questions asked. There is no amenities but in my opinion that’s how camping should be and word on the street is it’s not going to be like that for very long. The hosts were absolutely amazing and so kind and laid back, they are incredibly nice and chill people that we definitely were grateful to meet and so grateful they gave us this opportunity to stay on their beautiful piece of land. We wish we were able to stay longer and definitely will have to make it a week long trip next time around.

The host was helpful and knowledgable of the property. The views along the river were great, thought finding a spot close to the parking area was a bit difficult. To find a clearing for your tent you may have to hike back into the forest. There is promise of new developments and clearings to come though, so be sure to check in with the host on new additions to the amenities!
