Camp site 2
Absolute best stay!
We are home from a terrific trip and as we reminisce we both agree that our hosts at Camp site 2 were extraordinary and created the most wonderful experience for us both and our dogs! From the moment we pulled up we were so warmly welcomed. Everything was as described and could not have been more comfortable or the views more lovely. Our hosts were so genuine in their desire to make our stay the best and it truly was. To have a large open field for our dogs to run free and play with the host's dog, fresh beef bones provided for them to gnaw on, a fire pit moved in close with chairs, we ordered amazing beef from our hosts and we even had eggs delivered the next morning when they overheard we were low. I feel we made our first friends in Washington and hope to return soon.

Bow/Edison fields of dream
Best Hip Camp ever……..
There are amazing Hipcamps and there are amazing Hipcamp hosts. When you get both it is a home run! This is, hands down, the most enjoyable time we have had. The views are stunning. You are minutes to the Bakery at Bow, tons of hikes, lakes, beaches and Bellingham. If you are in an RV it is incredibly easy pull in and pull out. If you are in a tent you have loads of space to feel like you have privacy. We had views of Oyster Dome and watched paragliders jump off of the ridge right from our fire pit. Then you have the hosts…..quite possible the most generous and genuine people ever. They know the area well and let us fill up at their water site and even brought us out a quite, large generator for the weekend since we were out in the field in our RV. Whatever we needed, they were there to help. They love their property and love their campers. What a great time. We have already booked a return trip. This is an amazing place and it’s run by even more amazing people. Great experience.

Brenda is awesome & made us feel right at home on her beautiful property with views of the bay and the mountains. We had a great time hiking and mountain biking, there are so many great hikes in the area. I would definitely recommend camping here!

Bow/Edison fields of dream
Beautiful Location, Gracious Hosts
Beautiful location, great views, gracious hosts, but train noise was an issue for me, though it didn't both my wife as much. The site is flat and private, with views out across farm fields to the San Juan Islands to the West, and Oyster Dome to the North. So it's a nice place to hang out after a day of exploring the area. The caveat for me were the trains, 5+ each night, blowing horns at the crossing. So if this kind of thing bothers you, I still recommend a visit, but bring ear plugs. We enjoyed visiting Edison, Taylor Shellfish (15min North), and biking on the Cascade Trail. The port-a-potti is spotless, with a nice sink/hand-washing station. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly. Also, if you're heading North from the Seattle area, Skagit Co-op in Mt. Vernon is a great place to stop for supplies.

Bow/Edison fields of dream
This is a field of dreams!
Bow Fields of Dream is a beautiful, quiet piece of heaven. We have stayed here 3 times and love it! The hosts are delightful and thoughtful people. You know folks are good people by how they treat their pets, and these folks really care for their animal friends. It was a seamless process from start to finish. This site is close to lots of good hiking and paddle boarding. This is the best site in the area! No doubt we will be back!
