2 acres hosted by Batya W.
Beautiful Floyd County was predicted by Edgar Caycee to be a clearing spot in the future when times began to change, and the future is now! Crystals under the earth are very healing. This two acre spot on Old Epperly Mill Road is five minutes by car from downtown Foyd, which consists of a one stop-light four corners of rout 221 and 8, a country store a hardware store, and a coffee loft; health food store Harvest Moon which started out as a coop is near by. The land itself is a wildlife sanctuary and has one camper. Otherwise you are free to park at the top and roam down and pitch tents and enjoy the birds and crickets. Bring bikes to go along the rolling back dirt road past the old mill, your neighbors the cows, and the gushing brook. Make friends with the current owners of the mill, and enjoy the swimming hole.
Handmaids Gate was started in 2014 as an outgrowth of Red Tent, meant as a place where women could step through and stop being handmaidens to the patriarchy and unleash their creativity and return to their own internal strength.
