**** Limited time - Baby Goats born mid-March will be here through June *** Originally part of Blake Farm, built in the 1930's. Blake Farm was subdivided into 5 acres farmettes in the 1990's. The original farmhouse is next door, now known as Agape Farms. The forest has reclaimed much of the original Blake Farm land. Visit over 4 acres of available land, from the pastures, to the wooded creek, or the very back edge of the farm abutting deep woods. Spend relaxing time petting the Nigerian Dwarf goats, Rhode Island Red chickens, and the super-friendly livestock guard dogs (Thomasina, Bucky, and Sarge). We are also located adjacent to Agape Farms, with its horses, ducks, and chickens. All this in horse country just minutes from I-95 and an hour from Washington, DC or Richmond, VA.

Rodney's place is beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed great views of the farm from our large and level campsite. Rodney was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. I would love to stay here again.

The Mulchy Forest site

I recently stayed at Rodney's Mulchy Forest site and had an amazing time. The highlight was definitely the adorable baby goats, but there were also chickens, cats, dogs, and ducks to enjoy. Rodney was incredibly kind and accommodating, providing firewood and ensuring we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience.

We stayed several nights and found Rodney so welcoming and informative. Daily enjoyment of the farm animals and night stars made this campsite a favorite. We certainly hope to return.

Price is low and host is very responsive, but no address for location except gps coordinates and directions need an update —red fence is now brown. Water wasn’t available until check out due to temperatures. Dogs are people friendly, but not dog socialized. Which is ok because they are enclosed in a field, but not ideal for bringing your own dog due to the barking. A few things made me uncomfortable as a solo traveler: late at night a lone car parked facing me with their lights on for 30 mins and a few comments by the host.
