I started purchasing land in 1984 to create a forest animal wildlife preserve. After retiring from my construction business in New York I have returned to the New River to continue the project. Amazing spot with great view and everything you need for the trip. the staff there were super nice and helpful, but only came over when we needed something other than that the spot is completely private.

What a dream! Having a dry place to set up a tent, a table for food prep, and a picnic table were all bonuses to the beauty of this land. The compost toilet was fantastic. I enjoyed listening to the river, the birds and the rooster!! The trail down to the river trail was well cared for and easy to use. The extra bonus of electricity for lights was great. Pan was responsive while also maintaining privacy which I appreciated. We will be back!!

Stayed for a second night and we can’t brag on this place enough! You have to go to experience the hole vibe that this place offers.
