Scout Camp - Powered & Unpowered
Great Camping Spot
My 6 yo son and I loved the camp site, so much so my son is now keen to join cubs and then scouts and looks forward to camping with.other like minded folks/ kids and meet new people whilst camping.
The site is awesome with emus spotted upon arrival and during the 3x night stay.
The sky at night was truly amazing and we saw three satellites and a shooting star just as it was still getting dark upon dusk.
A good ole scout camp that still has plenty to offer even if it.is a tad on the older side. Main thing is to enjoy the great outdoors and still able to have a hot shower...perfect spot.
One thing to mention...coming from Ararat the 1st gate you come to isn't the way in as we noticed no combination lock and quickly worked out the entry gate was a few km around the corner towards Halls Gap way

Scout Camp Bunk House #2
A group of us booked 1 night camping here, and the second night in the bunkhouse (as it was meant to rain). However, the weather was glorious, so we stayed camping.
Such a brilliant campground. Toilets, hot showers, fire pits, ample firewood, fun camp kitchen and mess with big table and open fire. And all in such a wonderful location!
Will absolutely be back!

Awesome
Awesome spot and great value. Hot showers some powered spots a a great location.
Some parts of the track on were a little rough but nothing that would stop any 2wd cars or vans.

Cosy corner
Tucked away in the corner of Grampians national park, with full access to well stocked kitchen, showers, toilets, a washing machine and plenty of fridge space for campers. Loads of space to pitch a tent or park your van, and whatever activities you plan to do where it be relaxing by the fire or brushing up on your bushcraft, Cooinda Burrong scout camp is the perfect place to pitch your tent in the Grampians!

Great location to access some great hiking trails. Peaceful location such a contrast to the stupidity busy Halls Gap over Easter
