The main property is located  in the heart of a rural farming community between the town of Greensboro (home of Caspian Lake), and the village of Hardwick. It offers 3 - 4 miles of groomed, wooded trails, ideal for walking, hiking, mountain and fat biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The cabin is also in close proximity to Hill Farmstead Brewery (7 miles), The Highland Center for the Arts (3 miles) and the Willey's Store (3.5 miles). The village of Hardwick (3 miles) offers local shops, markets, restaurants, Buffalo Mountain Co-op and Front Seat Coffee (an artisan coffee house also offering free WiFi). 13 miles from the town of Craftsbury and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, an olympic-style sport training facility catering to all ability levels.

Additionally the central location offers access to many of Vermont's State Parks (Green River Reservoir State Park, Elmore State Park, Groton State Park, Crystal Lake State Park, Willoughby State Forest, Brighton State Park, just to name a few) offering daily access for hiking, fishing, swimming, paddle-boarding, canoeing and kayaking.

We had an amazing time! Secluded, private with many trails to explore. The stars in the sky were bright and the thousands of fireflies in The woods were just breathtaking. If you have more than a backpack and a cooler, I’d recommend taking them up on helping you bring your stuff to the cabin :) they’ve got everything you need up there including firewood, chairs, a stove and some cooking utensils. We will be back!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space!

We had a really great stay at the cabin. Dan was super helpful and it was a beautiful spot. It's about a 5-8 minute walk from the car parking spot (accessed by a short dirt road) to the cabin/site, uphill, so folks should just keep that in mind. Also, the beds in the cabin were a bit short to accommodate a 6'2" guy, but didn't bother me much. Really cool cabin and just what we were looking for!

Gorgeous little camp at top of the hill. Beautiful views. Peaceful. Agree with other reviews, walk to property is steep; take him up on his offer to assist if more than a back pack. Most things are there so you can go bare bones but if you are there for several days and live to eat/drink you will need assist! The stone patio around cabin, outhouse, and fire ring were a plus in the rain. Our dogs were super happy!

The cabin at Center Farm exceeded our expectations. It was thoughtfully and beautifully designed and situated upon a peaceful hill. The songs birds were loud and amazing by day and we counted 6 shooting stars at night. Would highly recommend for a magical getaway.

We had a lovely time staying here! The cabin was nice and cozy and had a lovely view of the valley. We saw tons of stars at night - the cabin is well isolated from other houses so there is almost no light pollution. You can see the whole milky way clearly! Overall a great experience; we would definitely stay here again.

Magical!! 🌲💫 This place is an absolute gem and we’re so grateful that Dan shared this slice of heaven with us! Truly one of the coolest spots we’ve found! Just a heads up - the hike up isn’t a joke, especially if you have lots of stuff. Pack minimal!! Although, plus side - great exercise! The stars at night are breathtaking! The cabin is adorable and cozy! Cutest outhouse I’ve ever seen and also very clean and cozy! The lean-to is awesome for cooking and storing your coolers, cleaning dishes, etc. We definitely want to go back, loved this place and this weekend so much!!! Thank you, Renauds!!! ❤️

We had such an amazing stay! The view and surrounding area is so beautiful and the sun and space felt so restorative. The stars, trails, wild flowers and fire were wonderful. Spent a great day at caspian lake, Barr hill hike and enjoyed the trails on the property. Amazing produce, dairy and meat all around. The general store in Greensboro was great and loved to buy beef and corn right across the property. Dan was an amazing host and made our stay extra comfortable and memorable. Would love to visit again. Thank you!!
