Camping for people who love kitschy coolness more than they love the potential of sleeping with critters and crawlers. If that describes you, then look no further.

Come stay with Rose and Danny as we restore the barn on the Historic Kimball Dairy Farm built in 1850.. You will sleep in a bed from the original owners in a loft with exposed hand hewn beams and look out over woodlands and meadow. You can lounge on the patio which was once an old grain silo, sit around the fire dish, listen to the fountain in the koi pond, or chill on the covered deck. We have a brand new private shower and sink to wash up or do the dishes on the ground floor of the barn

The space

There's a mini fridge, two burner infrared hot plate, Bluetooth solar speaker, USB ports, and cold well water fountain, and hard wired smoke detectors. We have hammocks to hang off the giant hemlocks and a bench at the top of our meadow that overlooks the valley. There are running trails cut through the forest on our land and we will provide you with maps and tips on the best places to hike, ride , drink, hang out or party in the area. We are outdoor enthusiasts and can direct you to some of our many local trails. Rainy day? No problem ! The State House, Vermont History Museum, Ben and Jerry's, Bread and Puppet, The Lost Nation Theater, The Vermont Antique Trail, The Prohibition Pig, Three Penny Taproom, and more breweries than you can shake a growler at are wicked close by.

This is going to be fun!

Rose and Danny were great hosts, clearly had tried to think of everything. Loft had dishes, chilled wine glasses, utensils, coffee and tea, what more could you ask? And on top of that, Rose does the dishes. Played a game of croquet on the lawn and took a short hike to the swimming hole. It was a great stay! And don't forget to ask about the localvore breakfast.

Rose and Danny are amazing hosts; we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful, comfortable, and warm visit! The loft is cozy, private, and beautifully decorated. Rose and Danny made sure we had everything we needed and more. We had such a great time exploring the property and talking with Rose about tarot cards and spirituality. We will definitely be back to this little slice of Vermont heaven soon!:)

The property is absolutely paradise. The loft has everything you need for the perfect glamping trip: a mini fridge, water, cups, plates, silverware, a two-burner hot plate, coffee and tea, and more!Rose and Danny's dog, Roy, is the sweetest you'll ever meet! The entrance to the barn.

Rose is a fantastic host, and this was our favorite place to stay on our trip. We loved the funky decor, the composting toilet, the kitty named Garcia and the dog named Roy, and the hiking trails around the property. 10/10 would stay again!

Had a really amazing night in the barn! Clean, cozy and quiet with all the things we needed. Rose was a great host and even recommended a local burger spot that was delicious! When we got settled we cozied on the couch with their adorable friendly dog Roy! A little chilly at night but that's just fall in Vermont, so all in all had a great time and would recommend!
