Great spot. Can camp close to your vehicle in a well developed site or hike a very small distance down to the waters edge and camp in a more rustic location on the water. Grear spot, caught perch, smallmouth & a largest pickerel of my life in our short 90 min fishing trip. Imagine we will go again though we dont go many places twice. Owners and the one neighbor we did run into were very friendly and happy to help.
A perfect place to relax and soak up the calm of nature. The lake is beautiful and we loved to go canoeing there. Excellent welcome and very clean place. We will be returning soon with our dog.
Merci pour la merveilleuse fin de semaine :)
Waterfront private tentsite
This was our first time booking on Hipcamp, a choice driven by my desire to be completely in the wilderness and not surrounded by lots of other people & noises while I camp. We were blown away by the experience. Elisa and her Husband Paul were both very great hosts, making themselves available and showing us the tentsite, answering any questions and very friendly, even offering us a fresh cucumber from their garden. We enjoyed a 3 night stay on their property right next to the water.
We also rented a canoe and were able to catch largemouth bass and little sunfish while exploring the resevior right from camp. Thanks for such a great vacation and much needed escape from reality!
This site was incredible! Secluded and right on the water. Getting out on the canoe and exploring the lake was definitely our highlight, besides Elisa's dog Oscar wanting to join our family.
We had a great and peaceful lakeside stay on the reservoir. We sat lakeside having a campfire and listening to the loons. Elisa gave us water for our biking adventure and helped us with directions for the days trip.
