Beautiful spots next to the water and ample grounds to explore. Enjoy the apple orchard, hike up to the tree lined rail bed, or go dip your toes in the river. Relaxed and fun hosts give this place a great vibe!

Found a friend on the old rail bed. This used to be a rail line that ran all the way up to Canada, but the tracks were removed and now it's a perfect path for hiking and biking...just a few minutes walk from camp!Tents, vans and RVs are all welcome at Onion River Campground.Chilly evenings = mandatory campfires forest van lodging

Very nice people, greeted us upon arrival. They even let us pick our site! Not quite what was advertised, not all sites were equipped with regular electricity (most were for RV), firewood was not free, no picnic table at our site. Sites were also quite close to each other. Positives: laid back atmosphere, the bathrooms were decent, the property is beautiful and the site is very affordable. The hosts were more than happy to meet our requests and I would definitely stay again.

Warm welcome by the owners. The site is a large open field of grass, perfect for any tent or RV, but without any privacy. The fire wood isn't free as written here. The toilets are disgusting, no maintenance at all.

Adorable little campground with nice bathrooms. The hosts are wonderful! There is some noise from the main road but the beautiful river makes up for it.
