Excellent spring stay at Carol's place for two nights. I was a cyclist on the LVRT getting on the trail in nearby Greensboro Bend, VT. Bus is electrified with wireless and is located right in front of the pastures for enjoyable views of the animals. The bed was comfortable and I requested the electric heater for overnight as it went down to the 30s (and I was comfortable). Carol is very knowledgeable about the area and is extremely responsive to contact. There is a tiny town with a library and general store and lake access nearby.
I ordered a breakfast and a lunch and it was AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things about the food.

Carol's place was amazing and made me realize how much Vermont truly has to offer. I even got the homemade breakfast that was beyond amazing with the best apple juice I've ever had. I enjoyed seeing the farm animals and they were quite entertaining. Carol had plenty of recommendations of what to do in the area. This was the first place I booked with Hipcamp and I'm glad I found this place. Highly recommend if you're thinking about it.

Stayed at the tent site, it was clean and easy to access. Traditional setup with a simple flat grassy area for the tent, fire ring and a picnic table.
Awesome host, fresh produce, and beautiful view, would stay again!

We loved camping in the bus! The beds are actually very comfortable, and the space inside the bus is perfect for just two people. Property was easy to find, even in the dark. The bus and outhouse were very clean. And the views from the property are amazing! Carol was very sweet and friendly! The breakfast basket was great! Would love to stay here again someday!

I loved camping on Carol’s land. The bus was a perfect base camp for my adventures. Waking up to the animals and wandering around the homestead was one of the highlights to my trip to the Northeast Kingdom. It was truly magical ✨💜

Our second stay at the bus was just as wonderful as the first! Carol is such a welcoming and gracious host and has put tremendous thought into the bus’s setup and her offerings. The farm is beautiful, and we were greeted every morning by misty views of the pasture, trees, hills, and, of course, the animals, who were adorable to watch. The stars in the evening were unbeatably bright.
The bus feels private and comfortable, but Carol is readily available to offer spot-on recommendations. There is also a beach about 5 minutes down the road from the bus, which allowed us to shuttle kayaks down one at a time on a very makeshift rig. Carol packed our lunch for us in a compact cooler and so kindly brought it to us early in the mornings, even on what seemed to be busy days, so that we could take it with us on our hikes. As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is delicious and very fresh—lunch always came with a fun beverage and a dessert, and it was truly a delight to see what Carol had packed after a tiring hike.
We will definitely be back! Thank you, Carol—until next time!

This was our third time staying at Broadfork Farm and it was a great experience once again. Carol is a pleasure to chat with and a gracious host. Her farm provides the perfect spot for a nice cozy fire, hanging with the animals, and sleeping under the stars. After a long bike ride or spending an afternoon at Hill Farmstead, it's the perfect place to rest.

Overall beautiful property and good experience. The host was very welcoming. We bought produce from the farm to cook over our fire. The pit toilet was a bit stinky, but clean inside.

Carol has setup a very nice hipcamp stay for those wanting convenient access to Greensboro. The bus is well equipped with power, wifi, table/chair, and comfortable convertible futons. The outhouse isn't far and a shower is located in front of the bus. Carol is an amazing host and I highly recommend any of her custom picnic baskets for those wanting some local products!

We loved discovering this spot, with all the animals you wish for on a farm. The owner was very sweet, don’t forget to visit the small shop opened 24h with fresh local eggs, meats, veggies and more! We’ll come back :)

Wonderful host and prime location just up the hill from town. Carol’s Broadfork Farmstead baked goods, local cheeses, and Polish Dill Pickles were a treat. Loved being so close to the animals. Nothing like the baritone moo of a cow early in the morning calling out for milking and the sight of piglets wrestling under the warmth of the mama sow. Pure VT and authentic NEK.

My 10 year old son and I had a wonderful time staying on the bus! He enjoyed opening the doors using the lever and pushing every button that there was (we were told the battery and engine were long dead). The views are incredible and the location is so fun with cows, goats, chickens, and pigs/piglets! Carol made us a wonderful breakfast of egg sandwiches, tea and fruit. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t stay longer. A very fun and memorable adventure!

I enjoyed my time at Carol's site. The space was perfect for setting up a tent, and had the added amenities of potable water, a clean privy, plenty of seating, and great views! The site was easily accessible, and Carol was super responsive!

I LOVE the mini bus and the atmosphere of the farm! The bus is always clean, the outhouse needs a new name because it is not a standard outhouse, it's better. I can get ahold of Carol anytime I need her. The only thing I needed was assistance with was paying for the food at her farm stand since I didn't have cash and I don't have Venmo. I will be booking again!

Perfect for our Greensboro weekend getaway. The lower pasture was tucked away but you could still see the house. We liked visiting the goats, cows, and piglets, and the 24/7 farmstand offered some good goodies.

I love to try out different places and types of shelter and a bus has been on my list for a long time. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's very nicely set up inside with many thoughtful amenities. The view was gorgeous and Carol was a wonderful host.
I'd been camping in my tent for a week and was heading towards home. Rain was expected and I didn't want to have to pack up a wet tent to deal with on my last night. Glad I made this choice as thunderstorms and downpours felt less nerve racking in a solid bus. It does get hot in there with these high temperatures lately but bring a small fan and it was very comfortable, especially after the rain.
Make sure to order breakfast! It was fabulous. And I loaded up with provisions at the farm stand and made an outstanding dinner when I got home.

It was a very nice campsite, carol was friendly and very helpful with directions and practically anything else we had asked. The view was beautiful and I am kinda jealous she gets to watch those sunsets every night. She had cute dogs aswell although he did sniff the burger buns ( I don’t blame him ) .
