Dark sky at Wright Ranch is second to none! I arrived late and quickly decided to skip the tent altogether. In the morning four astounding and entirely different views to N, S, E, W greeted me. No crowds. No human sounds. If I hadn’t made a last minute decision to use the porta-potty at the entrance, I’d give this Hipcamp a perfect review but frankly, thousands of flies, dead and alive changed my impression. It was filthy!! Trash cans (only) for solid waste and paper would be preferred. Or nothing at all, bc backpackers know what to do and the RV’s have their own. I strongly advise that if you offer the potty’s some effort must be made to clean and maintain them. I decided not to return.

We stayed in April, there was lots of campsites available with a ton of space between them . Very nice view up there, not too far a drive from the national park. Owner was friendly and welcoming

Great Views and Great Privacy!
We stayed at the property for two nights in April and, after reading some of the other reviews, I had concerns of April showers making passage to the property impossible. Well, that didn't happen! In fact, when it hasn't rained, the road leading in isn't very difficult to travel, especially in my Dodge 1500. The property itself is large enough for visitors to spread out and not have to deal with noisy neighbors. Bill comes around in the evening to verify each camp's reservation and he's quite the friendly guy. All in all, my family loved the views and the space and would definitely stay there again.

A bit of heaven
We found the views breathtaking. We camped three nights in our Ford Transit Campervan. Plenty of sun to charge our batteries. Lots of space to choose from. The road up is pretty steep but not bad in dry conditions.

A little bit removed from everything, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. A little rough on small cars, but well worth it.

A very special piece of land that we felt privileged to stay on. Views were spectacular, and the ride in was very manageable. We pulled a smaller 20 ft trailer with a Subaru Ascent and it was fine. Hope to return with one of the grandchildren….. Thank you Wright Family! Chip and Nancy…
