Whoa what a find!
Wendy and Kelly were phenomenal. The site was a real gem and we were able to explore a ghost town that is about 1.5 miles into their secluded location. We only spent one night but now that we know about this wonderful place, we will be back to float the river in Summertime! 5 out of 5 stars.
Blue valley is a truly magical place. This campground is special. I had a whole canyon and rushing orange river practically to myself ( except for 3 cows and a lot of birds) Wendy and Kelly were exceptionally communicative. They responded to my messages immediately and made me feel welcomed. They have nestled in a truly spectacular place. I have a hard time even putting words to the deep peace and rejuvenation I
felt here. I am grateful to have stayed here and connected with this place. I hope to come back in the future.
Great stay, great location!! Kelly was friendly and helpful! Love open space, our golden retrievers had as much fun as we did!!! Would do it again for sure!!
Property is beautiful by the river (took a morning splash in it) and about 30 minutes from Goblin state park. Wendy is nice and helpful.

This was probably the best campsite I’ve ever stayed at. Wendy and Kelley were excellent hosts. I communicated with Wendy online, and Kelley greeted me when we entered the property.
It’s over 1,000 acres and Kelley told us to camp wherever. The property is gorgeous, surrounded by beige buttes and with a river flowing through it. At night you can see a million stars. I definitely will stay here again.
Magical place with hospitable hosts
This was probably my favorite campsite that I've ever stayed at. Kelly and Wendy were wonderful hosts, and the campgrounds were really cool. A river flows through the grounds, and me and my boyfriend pretty much had it to ourselves when we were there.
We were able to find a pretty private campsite, as there were very few people there (especially welcomed in these times of covid19). We enjoyed stargazing by the campfire (skies are very dark here). Will definitely be back next time we are in Utah.
Beautiful views in remote utah
We stayed near campsite #1, where there was some shade for the tent. The area is very dusty, so be prepared for a lot of fine, silty sand. However, unless you're on the driving paths, the ground is quite hard (digging a cathole will take you the better part of 10 minutes). The sites are a short walk from a river, which is quite refreshing to walk/sit in during the heat of the day.
There was live music in the evening, which was wonderful and fun. I took the dog for a walk on the road south of the property (that leads to the old Giles town) in the morning and had good light for photos of the surrounding mesas. It seems like the hosts are knee-deep in projects to get the property in shape for more campers, but we had a great time even though it's a work-in-progress.
Wendy and Kelly are fantastic hosts. They will help - only as much as you ask them to! The perfect combination for us as they were charming to meet and we shared a few laughs as they helped us find just the right campsite for our crew and then...we never saw them again. They maintain the dirt road well and left thoughtul pile of kindling/branches at each site to help with a campfire. We had a great time.
