Stay at the Swell Retreat in the Whispering Pines. We have 10 acres of pine trees that are beautiful! Camp among them.

Our little piece of heaven is 182 acres with a 10 acre Christmas Tree Farm (only in operation for charity trees now), 20 acres of hay, 30 acres for cow and horse grazing, multiple ponds stocked with wide mouth bass (catch and release). We are excited to open our land to you for camping, relaxing, recreating, and rejuvenating!!

Our ultimate goal is to open a youth and family survival camp that focuses on survival skills, having fun, and strengthening individuals and families. All proceeds go to improving the land and creating the youth and family survival camp.

Onsite there are many places to camp and activities included. This camp site can hold 3 or 4 tents, pending size. If you have a bigger group than 8, please message us, we are happy to adjust the parameters to reserve your party. Kids 4 and under are free. Included in pricing: 2 acre pond, 1/4 acre pond, and multiple smaller ponds to fish (catch and release), 4 paddle boards, 6 kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 peddle boat that seats five, 1 floating island, lots of life jackets available that are age 2 years old to adult, swim, zip line and enjoy a 100' long slip N slide at your own risk (open access for other camp sites or reserve the whole place for a family reunion, call for pricing). Hike around the 182 acres. Picnic under the trees. Visit the horses and cows.

Offsite: Direct access to San Rafael Swell for mountain biking, OHVing, hiking, kayaking on San Rafael and the Muddy, canyoneering, etc. Joe’s Valley is minutes away and popular for bouldering. Three reservoirs within 20 minutes for boating, swimming and fishing (Milsite, Joe’s Valley, Huntington State Park). Short drive to dozens of mountain lakes. 100’s of miles of off road trails for off road enthusiasts. Goblin Valley and a dozen slot canyon hikes within a hour. Little Grand Canyon 30 minute drive.

Local diners: Fatty's (excellent food diner, our favorite is the sampler platter with chicken, fish, and shrimp with beer battered fries and their salads are to die for...and their alfredo pizza...oh my) and R Pizza Place is so good too (great pizza options, meals, smoothies, ice cream, and yummy breadsticks).

*** For groups larger than eight please message, we are happy to accommodate!! We love family reunions and gatherings!
