Our 16-acre property has been family owned for over 50 years and remains mostly covered in nature. We are conveniently located about 6 minutes from Mansfield, Tx, which has ample grocery stores shopping for any last minute things you need or forgot. Even though we are located so close to a major urban area, our land is a hidden country gem that transports you to a tree shrouded haven.
We have a multitude of wild critters running around, too, though many of them tend to be shy. The ones we know about are bunnies, butterflies, snakes, marsh hawks, night herons (seasonally), coyotes, armadillos, skunks, cardinals, blue jays, humingbirds, raccoons, opossums, owls, and bats. We even have seen a red fox and a bobcat roaming now and then.
We are also in the process of becoming a certified Monarch Butterfly Way Station so we have fields covered in wildflowers during the spring.
Our property is also home to our annual fall festival called Steampunk November, so in addition to acres of trees and nature, you will also find stages and structures for the festival. We live on the property and will be available to you pretty much the whole time you are here.
We are also about a half an hour drive to Joe Pool Lake, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor, Scarborough Renaissance Festival, The Rangers Ballpark, The Dallas Cowboys Stadium, and only about a 10 minute drive to Hawaiian Falls Water Park.
