Woody was an amazing host. His land is beautiful. About 15-20 minutes to Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park and 1.5 miles from Utopia. The tent and bunkhouse are outfitted wonderfully. We will certainly be back.

Woody and His Family are very gracious hosts and their land is absolutely beautiful. When we arrived, they met us with flashlights and homemade fire starters, which was so thoughtful! My Fiancé and I really enjoyed the privacy of the glamping tent and the fire pit was absolutely amazing. In the morning we enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the property, met Charlie (The Donkey) and Sarah (1 of several goats) which were super cute and friendly. Woody really made us feel at home, and shared future plans for this special campground.. We look forward to coming back and spending more time here in the near future! Thank y’all for the amazing hospitality!

Woody was an excellent host! The Seco Ridge campground is a great place to stop for the night or stay for a while. Since it was a weekday during the off-season, I had the place to myself, but it would be fun for groups, too!

We (Gf and I) went out to Seco Ridge for the weekend and the experience was great. Directions were easy to follow and the whole experience was simple and seamless. We arrived and were directed to our site. The site was very well thought out and they had everything you needed (e.g. chairs, usb power bank, fire starter, wood). The bed was very comfy and it was nice to get away for a bit. Last but definitely not least, was our host Woody. Woody was extremely hospitable and you could tell that he and his wife really thought their design through, the touches were exceptional. We will definitely return, thank you Woody for a great experience.

Jean and I needed a break and we had not been to Utopia in a few years. We were so pleased to find a space that provided some privacy and all we had to take was ourselves a little food, a few adult beverages and ourselves. Elaine and Woody were the most amazing and accommodating hosts---we had a lovely fire and a pail filled with s'mores fixins. The restrooms were immaculate and the grounds were perfect----a walk under the full moon was followed by a restful sleep on a matress that rivaled our own at home! We were awakened by a gentle rain in the morning. What a perfect get-away! We will DEFINITELY come back here.

I highly recommend staying at the Seco Ridge Campgrounds! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer to experience more of what the campgrounds had to offer. Woody is a gracious host and we couldn't feel more at home. This is a perfect spot to get away from crowded campgrounds and get to really experience the magic of the hill country.
