If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The place was so peaceful and private. (Whole woods to yourself!)
The tent was spacious and comfy, well equiped with fridge, water tank and kettle with teas and coffee.
The toilet was a compost, no shower and no access to a water tap when we were there.
Nothing really to do there or around but we enjoyed cookings, outdoor/indoor games, hummock and stargazaing!
The owner were so friendly and helpful.
We'd like to go back there again.
The tent was great, but the best part was that the hosts clearly want to provide a good experience. They set out beds with great blankets, had coffee and tea available, card games, lots of flashlights, batteries and emergency needs, a generator with extra fuel, a stove, campfire, and fire wood. Thanks, Sherry!
My new go-to glamp spot
Just an hour outside of Dallas but far enough to experience nature. Two gentle, free roaming rescue donkies were the perfect greeting along with our very accommodating hosts. Bed and amenities were extremely comfortable. Surroundings were perfect and just what you would want out of a glamping site. Wish I had time to try out the hammock...next time!
Amazing, relaxing, inspiring
My family and I needed to get away from our everyday stresses and spend time with each other in a peaceful place.
Purdon farms absolutely exceeded our expectations!! Sherry and Houston are the most gracious and down to earth hosts. They made us feel welcome and safe. They educated us about their farm and their animals.
The tent was spacious and inviting. We had warmth and convenience. Everything was perfect.
We loved every second of our visit and we will be returning soon.
I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! My family and I had such an amazing time enjoying the outdoors and spending time together! We will definitely be going back many times in the future!!
Had the time of our lives!
My fiancé and I had THE best time here! The decor is impeccably curated and both the tent, bath house and grounds were clean and very well kept! You have everything you could need there to have an amazing experience beautiful tent, indoor games, outdoor games, very friendly critters and a stunning garden view into miles of tall luscious trees. Not far from Corsicana where you can find an restaurant, a bakery and plenty of shopping! Sherry and Houston were very attentive and welcoming and we will absolutely be back and highly recommend this beautiful experience to anyone!
It was an amazing place to recharge and have time as a family. My kids had a blast running wild and free. Sherry and Houston would amazing hosts, and their daughter, emily! We will be making this annual family trip.
Such a cool spot! We brought our two young kids with us. We had plenty of space in the tent for all 4 of us. Every detail has been thought out, super comfy beds, French press for coffee, multiple fire pits, hammocks, lanterns, tons of outdoor games. It’s a beautiful spot to spend some time. The two donkeys are so sweet, even with little kids. We can’t wait to come back!
We'll be back!
We just spent a night in the Bell Tent and wish we'd stayed longer! The hosts have thought of everything, from air-conditioning to marshmallow sticks and extra bug spray. So much space inside and outside the tent to hang out.
And the big wagon was a game changer for getting gear to the tent.
