If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
The place was so peaceful and private. (Whole woods to yourself!)
The tent was spacious and comfy, well equiped with fridge, water tank and kettle with teas and coffee.
The toilet was a compost, no shower and no access to a water tap when we were there.
Nothing really to do there or around but we enjoyed cookings, outdoor/indoor games, hummock and stargazaing!
The owner were so friendly and helpful.
We'd like to go back there again.
The tent was great, but the best part was that the hosts clearly want to provide a good experience. They set out beds with great blankets, had coffee and tea available, card games, lots of flashlights, batteries and emergency needs, a generator with extra fuel, a stove, campfire, and fire wood. Thanks, Sherry!
My new go-to glamp spot
Just an hour outside of Dallas but far enough to experience nature. Two gentle, free roaming rescue donkies were the perfect greeting along with our very accommodating hosts. Bed and amenities were extremely comfortable. Surroundings were perfect and just what you would want out of a glamping site. Wish I had time to try out the hammock...next time!
Amazing, relaxing, inspiring
My family and I needed to get away from our everyday stresses and spend time with each other in a peaceful place.
Purdon farms absolutely exceeded our expectations!! Sherry and Houston are the most gracious and down to earth hosts. They made us feel welcome and safe. They educated us about their farm and their animals.
The tent was spacious and inviting. We had warmth and convenience. Everything was perfect.
We loved every second of our visit and we will be returning soon.
I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! My family and I had such an amazing time enjoying the outdoors and spending time together! We will definitely be going back many times in the future!!
It was an amazing place to recharge and have time as a family. My kids had a blast running wild and free. Sherry and Houston would amazing hosts, and their daughter, emily! We will be making this annual family trip.
