Welcome to our little piece of heaven called the Faery Forest with tall trees and much greenery, where the native animals roam free and the birds sing for you in the mornings. We are in the Texas Hill Country where there once were majestic mountains but have become hills after many years. The wonderful Guadalupe River runs nearby with steady temperature all year round attracting kayakers and tubers but also swimming enthusiasts while some people like to fish. The water has been very high and some summers we have had less but right after a heavy rain we always have a very fast running stream and then its extra fun to go kayaking....if you like adventure. If you don't like getting wet its best to go when the river isn't running too fast.
