Imagine camping on an island next to a glittering lake surrounded by towering cypress trees and a lush, tropical landscape. Picture yourself in a roomy tent, laying down on your soft foam mattress, 2 fans keeping you cool and comfortable, LED lantern to light up your space. Switch it off and the stars shine brightly across the night sky through the screen above you. What awaits: a fun, exciting evening meeting new people, playing volleyball or washers and hanging around the campfire roasting s'mores. Ease and comfort enable you to get a good night’s sleep and gear up for the next day of kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and fishing. It’s going to a be a good day! The best part is you get to relax and have fun while we do all the work!

Texas River Island Glamping

The gazibo area was amazing, but the tents were not as private and the workers during our first morning decideded to weedeat grass and kept bumping our tent the first morning. The second morning a worker was yanking our tent trying to remove a rope tied around it not being considerate that we were inside the tent again. The third morning a neighbor was listening to heavy metal music for about an hour before being told to turn it down. The cleaning was great the trash was always kept empty and the restroom and showers were kept clean. We also had parking issues we paid for four days and every morning they tried telling us that we had to move our vehicle and everyday we had to explain that we paid for days and nights and we were keeping our vehicle in front of our tent area and not moving it.
