Broken Bandera
A fine place to crash
This was a nice little spot to post up for a night. The host was very kind and prompt to respond. However, the directions were a bit unclear and it was difficult to find the spot initially. Also, the grass was quite high which made it tough to lay out our tent. Overall, we enjoyed our visit! It was very peaceful and the sounds of the night and morning animals were made our experience tranquil. I would not say it's a very private site though. It was smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Broken Bandera
This isn't a place we would seek out to stay at. However, if you need a place to crash for the night, this will do. The town just down the road was a fun spot to check out and the park in town with the river was beautiful. Not very sure if you actually have access to the river across from the property. You had to walk through a lot that is for sale and getting down to the river is quite steep. As far as the property, its just an open lot in a neighborhood, right next door to a home. So like I said, not a place I would seek out, but if you need a place to just crash for the night or want to check out the historic town of Bandera, it works.
