I love it. It is pretty quiet here. Very tranquil compared to everyday life of traffic and the constant buzzing of too much and too many. We slept in a small tent in the cabin. It was perfect. There is no door or windows, and I am the perfect "free buffet" for bugs... With no rain fly on the tent, we had good air circulation and felt really comfy.

The deck, overlooking the pond, was so relaxing. Get up with the sun and a cup o' Joe and watch the fish play, breaking water, splashing around. Being allowed to bring our two dogs was a huge plus. They played in the pond, ran off to who knows where, and came back to sleep on the porch. There was no crazy barking. They were so relaxed.

My son caught his first bass here. From the looks of the many minnows playing around the shore, it's a really healthy, happy place for fish.

We just got our kayaks, so this was the perfect location to just get the "feel" of kayaking. We practiced getting on and off the kayaks, played "Catch" with a ball to learn how to manuver, and laughed as loud as we wanted too, when we (just me really) had a hard time climbing back up on the kayak.

It is a primitive site, so prepare for that. I'm a newcomer, like a whole slew of people, because of Covid-19. I don't think I will ever go back to the other vacation ways. This is the best! It's real, and you learn so much about yourself and the ones you love. Provide your own experience, don't ask for someone to hand it to you. I am definitely coming back.

Love the view!We set up a small 4 person tent inside. It fit just right!Completely relaxed and lazyGood Mornin'!
