Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater to large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Please supply your own wood. Strictly no chainsaws. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We also operate another Hipcamp situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. If it may be of interest, please search Bright Burra Creek.

Hill Side Paddock
Beautiful Sunsets, Perfect Getaway!
What an amazing getaway! Thank you Trish for your hospitality, check ins, and for guiding us back to the towers lol! The best long drops we have ever seen and we have been around. Perfect views and walks. Our kelpie also had just the best time. We will be back!

Campers Cave
It was just my wife & I and our pet dog, was such a nice spot, Nice and quite, heaps of campers around the place but it’s still private which is nice. They provide great firewood ( at an extra cost ) but it’s totally worth it, the time it would take to cut the wood collet it all up slip it and deliver that’s what you pay for it all takes time to do. We will be back for sure. Hot tip - stop into the hotel central riverton for a feed for lunch and a pint great food and stuff are nice we sat in the beer garden with our dog was a great way to start the trip. Thanks to Trish and Peter credit to you guys for the hospitality can’t wait to stay again!

Camping as a family
Trish is a great hostess and is very welcoming. She greats you when you arrive and shows you to your site. Kids loved the footy goals and mini golf.

Perfect farm stay 20/10
We absolutely loved camping at Edgehill Farm, Trish and Peter were the most amazing and welcoming hosts. Trish showed us to our site on arrival and there was wood waiting for us. Such a peaceful place to stay, the sunset bar was a beautiful spot to admire the picturesque sunsets. We will definitely be back!

Gum Tree Paddock
Amazing location, our second time camping at Gum Tree Paddock. Our dogs loved being able to run around and tease each other with the many sticks. Sunsets were sensational and the morning chorus from all the birds was wonderful. Loved the fanciest long-drop we’ve ever experienced! Camping tip: hard ground pegs will make your setup a bit quicker and easier.
