Just brilliant
Fantastic campground with great amenities I just love staying here so much that I came back for a second night. Beltana is fascinating and the local progress association has done a brilliant job in the town to make it interesting for visitors. Staying here has been one of the highlights of this trip to the Flinders. Thank you to the locals who do such a brilliant job

Great camp at Beltana. Clean toilets and showers, large sites. Totally run by volunteers from the Bektana community. Excellent spot to use as your base when you want to go to the Ediacaran site at Nilpena.

Jan is lovely and very informative, however the noise from a private function was ridiculous and very annoying. We came for peace and quiet and found ourselves in the middle of a private function being held at the hall.
Loud Music all day and well into the night, people in swags blocking the way to the bathrooms
If there is to be a private function please don’t take money from campers without warning them of the impact

Absolutely loved our time in Beltana. Clean showers and toilets, with STUNNING sunsets, sunrises and stars.
We were lucky enough to be in town for when the town hall bar is open for all the locals to come together. As an added treat- we found out about Waraweena station that we spent a day exploring as well. Thank you Jan for having us 🤍

Living ghost town
Great spot to stay if wanting to visit Nilpina Ediacara National Park. Good showers and toilet facilities. Friendly locals and lots of old buildings with information boards to help you to discover the history of this “ghost” town.
