SPROUT FED BEEF property with animals of all kinds in the granite belt. At Woodspring we sprout barley grass daily and feed our steers to perfection to sell direct to the public. We are all about paddock to plate food learning! We also have a breeding herd of classic Australian Shorthorn, a pony named Chief, alpacas, sheep, dogs, ducks, geese, chickens, guinea fowl, peacocks and pigs. Guest dogs are not permitted. NOTE: no hunting

We were felt very welcome at Ben’s property. Beautiful and peaceful camp spot with a camp fire. Family very lovely and involving with farming aspects.

Wonderful Stay at WoodSpring Farm

We recently had the pleasure of staying at WoodSpring Farm, and must say it exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful details throughout my stay, it was truly an unforgettable experience. Ben and Sarah, along with their farmhand Phil, were exceptional hosts. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the farm and its sustainable farming methods, and our group thoroughly enjoyed the insightful tour they provided. One of the highlights of the stay was receiving fresh milk straight from the farm. It was a delightful treat that added an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. Additionally, we opted to purchase the meat pack offered by the farm, and were blown away by both the quality and value. The meat was incredibly flavorful and made for some truly memorable meals during my stay. Overall, my time at WoodSpring Farm was nothing short of fantastic. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to disconnect and immerse myself in the beauty of nature. We cannot recommend this charming retreat highly enough and will most certainly be returning in the near future. Thank you, Ben, Sarah, and Phil, for a truly wonderful experience!

Woodspring Farm was a wonderful eye opener to the workings of a family farm. Ben and his family were warm and welcoming and we purchased some of their delicious steaks. Our campsite was quiet and scenic by the river. We loved seeing the cattle nearby.

Woodspring Farm Unpowered Campsites

The hosts were fantastic. Ben drove us around the farm explaining all their farming techniques and the benefits they have reaped. We bought a pack of beef steak and sausages - never tasted anything so good! Camp sites are all together in a dedicated area, shady and well grassed. Would recommend staying here for sure.
