Pumpkin Patch Sarabah Stud
Great spot for young families!
Fantastic few nights away at Sarabah Stud. Stayed on the Pumpkin Patch site with 6 adults and two toddlers. Highly recommend this site for families with young kids as it's a short walk to the creek but not close enough that you're worried about water safety.
Each site is about 50 metres away from each other which was great, and even better on our last night when we were there solo - stunning scenery, next to a mountain, cold creek and lots of great spots to explore.
3km walk with the kids took us to see: platypus, turtles, kangaroos, horses, cows and every bird under the sun.
Take bikes or balance bikes for the kids/toddlers! We had quite a few green ant nests on the site, take flooring and you'll be right.
Robert was a legend. Comes around once a day to check how everything's going, and available to come and help when you need. He was firm on boundaries which we loved, every campsite was pretty respectful and quiet enough.
Added bonus: the site was right under the mountain so it was dark until later in the morning and we all got a sleep in!
Highly recommend the property, would love to visit again. Thanks Robert!

The Mulberry Tree
Our big family loved our stay at the mulberry tree site. Rob is a fantastic host! Felt like we were in our own little world. Listening to the creek trickle as we slept, playing soccer etc in the large flat green space, swimming in the waterhole, rock-hopping down the creek and exploring around the creeks edge. Will definitely be back

Lower Platypus Hole Sarabah Stud
Lovely spot right by the creek. The site feels private and is away from the other sites. Sarabah Estate Vineyard is within walking distance and definitely worth a visit!

Corn Patch Sarabah Stud
This is my third time at Sarabah Stud -each time I’ve tried a different “patch” but every time my experience has been fantastic. I was a little confused at first because I couldn’t see a sign that said “corn patch” like the other sites but we worked out where we were meant to be quickly. There were other people at the other sites but you can barely hear them and they were friendly. You feel like you’re far away from the hustle and bustle of life which helps to relax but it’s also conveniently located 10mins to cafes where we got a coffee one of the mornings. The creek was a refreshing alternative to a shower and the private portaloo is a big selling point for us girls. Rob provides quality wood for the bonfire at a low cost and was super friendly. The stars were shining brightly on both nights which made it extra magical. Love this spot and highly recommend it especially to beginner campers.
