Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Search for Murphy's through Hipcamp. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010 Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers) Pet friendly off-grid camping. There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. There are permanent residents living nearby the camp sites, please consider your camping neighbours and our neighbours. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Firewood available, either book through Hipcamp or purchase direct at the farm. Tamrookum Store is 2 kilometres away for general goods and take away food.

A beautiful spot to stay for a peaceful getaway. Sites are huge and private. Grounds are well kept. We visited specifically for the fishing but sadly all we managed to catch was turtles!

We had a wonderful couple of days relaxing at Libby’s beautiful place. Well maintained, lots of bird life and relaxing mountain and water views. Thank you for sharing your special place with us Libby, we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to be back 😊

Our 3rd Visit

Our 3rd visit to Libby's farm at Tamrookum and our 3rd fantastic, peaceful and relaxing short break. Once again we had the place to ourselves on Friday night and on Saturday a few other people arrived, but the sites are widely dispersed so you will always have peace and quiet at your own private spot. Each site has a large enough flat area for several cars/tents or trailer/caravans, and Libby keeps them well maintained and beautifully grassed. If you are looking for a quiet place for a short break close to Brisbane then book a weekend here at Logan Park Farm. Only about 15 minutes south of Beaudesert and has a great Lake (it's bigger than a dam) with nice cool water for paddling, kayaking, fishing etc and you can have campfires (local conditions permitting). Everything you could want for a quick break not far from the city. Thanks, Libby, we'll see you again soon :)

Big open camp site right next to the pond. Very friendly host. Relaxing farm atmosphere is great. Will definitely return for another visit.
