Setup your tent or tents among wildflowers and blueberry shrubs. Be aware not mowed so suggest long pants also for hiking our a natural trail. May also car camp here on this upper edge of 50+ acres. Breathe in fresh air, get out of blank city air. Wildlife watch and star gaze at night. An octagon picnic table is at the site, stone firepit, and a composting loo is provided. As you walk from east to west on property it gets shadier and cooler. Forested land is to the west of camping area for hiking down to Red Bank Creek the western border. If you aren't riding on Red Bank Creek rail trail or visiting local sites. We are in "The Wilds" of Pa. with many state parks/forest and national forests as well. We will let you know if any other guests are on the property. If you want to come earlier or come later in day, ask us. We try to be flexible. Go directly to your site. Just give us an ETA so we can check in with you and make sure you are all set. Follow pink dots to make a loop around property to river and back up a different route. If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I just want to say that we couldn’t be happier with the accommodations offered. The hosts were overly helpful, offering anything we needed. They even upgraded us to a trailer instead of a campsite for free. It has a fire pit, maybe a full size bed, and basic needs for the best prices on hipcamp. Also it’s right off the highway. The land was beautiful, I wish it wasn’t raining so we could have had a fire. We wish we were hungry enough to eat the provided duck eggs! Thanks again for everything and I know if we ever travel to ny from Chicago again I know where to stay that is half way. :)
