Rustic cabin has a loft for sleeping. Great for outdoors people who want to bicycle, hike, snow shoe, or kayak on Red Bank Creek trails the 50 miles to Allegheny River. Floor of cabin is concrete and often wet in winter. Heat rises from wood stove through steep ladder opening so loft stays warmer and dry. No electricity or running water. However the wood stove in the cabin cooks up some good eggs, pancakes, toast, coffee or stew. We provide a 3 gallon cooler with potable water. Can heat spring water on stove to wash up silverware and pans or self. Suggest paper products to avoid the need to wash dishes. There are 50+ acres for you to explore. There are three camp sites  all are on the eastern half of the property, however you can't see any from one another. There is a pink trail to follow as a loop to Red Bank Creek and up through open forest to be completed by cabin.

Small firepit next to picnic table outside along a stream, which may be gushing or a trickle depending on weather and time of year. The downstairs of cabin is cool on hottest day due to sandstone walls. I have a cohost who helps greet you when I am not available and she sells fresh eggs if you'd like some.

Wonderful and gracious hosts! Upon arrival the bonfire wood are all nicely cut and stacked. Everything as described were provided. Only several minutes away from Interstate 80. Ask Co-Host Judy about her Duck eggs, they are delicious! Thanks Linda and Co-host Judy! Can't wait to return in the future!

'Rustic cabin' explains it well. Old and small structure that is cozy and clean for sleeping in the loft area. I'd like to hike on the nearby trails if I'm back that way.

We loved our stay here! It was the sweetest little place in the woods. The kids loved the creek and getting fresh water from the spring! I wish we had more time to spend, we will definitely be back!

We had a great time here! We had our dogs with us and they had a blast exploring the huge property! Very close to biking, hiking, canoeing, etc.

Further down the hiking trail near Red Bank CreekThe creek right by the building.Playing on the property...We were able to set up their crates and feel secure leaving them in the building when we went to town.

This cabin is wonderful! I spent my 26th birthday here with my friends, boyfriend and his pup. We had a blast. The property is gorgeous and the loft is perfect and cozy for sleeping. Definitely already planning a return trip next Summer!
